🏝️ Close your eyes and imagine this with me...
It's 6AM. You wake up and open the curtains. In front of you is the beautiful blue waters of the Andaman Sea. You wash down a large cup of water with electrolytes. You go to the kitchen and greet your new friends over a coffee. I'm one of those friends ☺️ You put on your walking shoes and go for a 30-minute walk with the gang. You come back to a spread of eggs, turkey bacon, fruit, protein shakes, and more coffee. You're not sure how to track the food, but good thing I'm there to show you exactly how. You go back to your room for some personal time. 11AM hits, and I'm waiting in the gym to show you how to properly train (finally 😆) We head to the sauna after, and we share our goals and dreams. We do a mobility session together and rest for a few hours. It's 6PM, and dinner is served. Your meal is optimized for your calorie and macro goals + you get a side of bone broth 🤩 We end the night with a short but sweet lesson on how to optimize your sleep. You head to bed, and we do it again tomorrow. So... I actually had the pleasure of taking part in an experience like this last year on the beautiful island of Koh Samui at a luxury called Villa Solana. I became good friends with the honorable guests there, including three Miss Universe Thailand's 😉 (how lucky am I) and one of the top Thai female fitness influencers (@befitwithjess). There's really nothing like a 3-day unplugging getaway where your main focus is yourself... but with an awesome support system to top it off. Raise your hand if you'd want to experience this 🙋🏽✋

Finding Balance
For most of my life, I have had a bad habit of working too much. I am a mother, wife, daughter and a health care provider. I spend most of my life caring for others. I am not really good at caring for myself. I have realized lately that I am lacking balance between work and life. I spend most of my life working and then the rest fitting in family and squeezing in time for myself. I recently realized that this is not really sustainable and I have been working with my coach @Kevin Teachanarong to find some balance. I am working on some new goals. I am starting with goals of improving my sleep with a dedicated bedtime no later than 10:00 – 10:30 pm. I am also trying to set boundaries and limits of work time. Setting a time to stop and then that is all I will do for the day. This is my starting point. So far, I have been able to set stopping times for work and have been successful the past 2 days. (This is a new goal set this week). Yesterday, I was able to accomplish this and finish all of my work charting for the day. I got most of it done at work which is hard to do. After getting home, I stopped working when I said I would and enjoyed dinner and a little television (which I never watch) with my husband. I was then so tired I went to bed early. I even slept in this morning. Today, I set work goals and kept them. So far, so good. I plan to hit my bedtime tonight. I also want to say that the BBB program and working with my personal coach gives me more skills than just a weight loss program. If you are considering joining the inner circle, I encourage you to do so. It has been one of the best things I have done for me. Sharing to keep myself accountable. Do you have anything that you find gets in the way of balance and reaching your goals?
I must admit, I thoroughly enjoyed myself with the delicious food.
Today, we went for an 8km run followed by an additional 7km walk to small organic fruits and veggies stall to get some fruits. The weather was perfect for a beautiful Sunday, so we decided to treat ourselves to some delicious tapas and sherry wine at our favourite restaurant in Malaga old town. The best part was that it was a small, sharing-style restaurant, so we didn’t overeat. We also had a superb, yummy cheesecake with pistachio ice cream. I’m not usually a dessert person, but I suddenly had a sweet tooth craving for once, cheesecake with pistachio Ice cream for sharing. 😁 There were some Carnival going on! It was superb nice and we had a great time!! 🙃
