Want to teach a masterclass on the calendar? You only have until Friday.
Every two months, I offer the community the opportunity to learn about how to create a high-value, high-converting masterclass and then extend the invitation to use what you've learned to offer your own masterclass in the CLASSIFIEDS as a way of building your authority, getting more exposure, and (hopefully) growing your community. This month, the kids are at home and we have vacation planned, so I will be offering the recording of the session at 𝗮 𝗿𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗲𝗱 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗹 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆. This masterclass 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗯𝗲 𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗹 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿, so if you are planning on giving a masterclass sometime in the next two months, you'll want to sign up now. You can watch it at your convenience! So how do you get started? 1. Become a premium member for only $3 per month. You can actually do this anytime before you book your session. 2. 2. Take the prerequisite workshop called "How to Teach a High Value, High Converting Masterclass." I usually teach this live for $27, but because it's summer and the kids are home, instead I'm offering up the replay from the last time I taught it for only $22! 3. The reason for the prerequisite is that it's very important the masterclasses deliver value and are not just pitch fests. If the classes you provide deliver value, then people want to attend and actually look to the calendar to see what's happening. If even a few are a waste of time for people then it ruins it for everyone! 4. After you take the workshop, you then have access to the Google form to submit to me your chosen date and time. I will promote it and pin it in the community and put it on the calendar. Your first masterclass is free, and any subsequent masterclasses you would like to provide are subject to a $10 administrative fee. That's it! Pretty simple. You can find the prerequisite masterclass at the top of the classroom!

HOW IT WORKS - READ THIS FIRST
Ever wonder how you can let people know about your Skool community? Feel like you have so much to offer but don't know how to get people involved? Wish there was somewhere you were actually allowed to promote yourself and talk about your offer? Look no further! The Skool Classifieds are the place where you are not only allowed to promote yourself, but you are actually encouraged to do so! Like the Classifieds section of your local newspaper or the Community Message Board at the gym, this is the place to let people know what you do and what you offer. Here's how it works: 1. Invite other Skoolers you know to join the group using your invite link. The more people join, the more people there are to promote to! 2. You can post once a day only. This is to keep the group from getting spammy. If it's spammy, people won't read and you won't get noticed. Post as many days in a row as you want, but please do not post the same thing day after day - mix it up! 3. Make sure you add your post to the appropriate group/heading. Please see below for a description of what each group is for. If you don't see a group that is appropriate, message me. 4. Self-Promotion is what this group is all about, but please do not DM people with your offers. You will be removed from the group for doing this. 5. Introduce yourself in this thread, and then scroll up and find someone you have something in common with. Reach out. There are some really amazing people here! 😉 This is a place for us to support each other for our mutual benefit. Hate speech, offensive language, or general negativity will be deleted, and you will be removed from the group. *Please check out this post for more tips on how to get great results from your posts. And also this post by one of our own community members who has had great success growing his group through the CLASSIFIEDS. To learn How to Make Your Classifeds' Posts Work Harder for You, check out this masterclass by one of our moderators, @Faith Adebayo

My favorite four words in sales
I've worked with a lot of retailers over the years, and one of them had a very successful gift shop that she operated for 40+ years. Her store was known as a hidden gem, and even today, I find things in my house that came from there, often as gifts from friends. I learned the simplest phrase from her: "Have you seen this?" At her counter, she always had a small assortment of interesting things that would fit into a purse (think glass nail files, beaded holders for your tissue pack, beeswax lip gloss), and I don't think anyone ever left without adding one of them to their order as they checked out. Imagine what adding a few dollars to every transaction could do to your business, even if it's not a brick-and-mortar retail store. In that spirit, I wanted to share a HAVE YOU SEEN THIS post about one of the sections in our Skool community. Have you seen the podcast-style lessons that we've put together for you? We set 'em up this way so that you can listen on the go (they're also available on Spotify and Apple) and cover topics like: - You've been thinking like a marketer. Now it's time to think like a publicist. - How to handle a 1-star Google review - How to grow Google reviews without getting banned - How to handle trolls and haters online and more... https://www.skool.com/prshield/classroom/690fc2b3?md=c9ec205913944c86901cda6e0eb39ba2 Check 'em out and let us know other topics you'd like us to explore! But first, of course, you have to join!

Your Business Called… It Wants You to Finish Something 🤪
Everybody says they want consistency. Until consistency gets boring 🤣 Then it’s… “I just need to figure out my messaging.” “I think I need a better strategy.” “I should probably redo my website.” “I’m gonna tweak my offer one more time.” Cool. 😈 How’s that working out? Here’s the fucking hilarious part… I’m neurospicy AF. AUDHD. I hate calendars. I hate forcing myself into some color coded routine. I hate feeling like my business expects me to be “on” every waking minute. And yet… I’m consistent as fuck. Two years of solid green squares on my activity chart for skool (except the one time I got a stomach bug for 24 hours and apparently my brain decided business didn’t exist for 24 hours 🤪). I post content daily on socials, showing up in my groups daily, plus juggling 7 crazy feral kiddos, homeschooling, homesteading and wifing on top of it all 😅 I didn’t find the perfect planner. I stopped trying to build my business like I have someone else’s brain. I built a rhythm that actually works with mine. When I’m in a creative groove… I create. When I’m not… I don’t force it because some calendar says it’s content day. Then I ship it. See what happens. Fix what sucks. Do it again. That’s messy AF action. That’s the entire vibe inside Fix Your Funk. 👇🏻 Can you imagine what would happen if you stopped trying to build your business like everyone else? What’s the thing you’ve been telling yourself you need to “fix” before you finally hit publish?
