Your Skool Could Use a Little FAFO…
I’m officially opening up a few spots to come hang out inside established SKOOL communities as a guest speaker… although “speaker” feels a little generous considering I’m much more likely to show up, ask a ridiculous number of questions, give real examples, and turn the whole thing into a conversation 🤷🏻‍♀️ The stuff I can come talk about lives mostly in the world of building a business that actually works for the person running it… community engagement, creating content people give a shit about, storytelling, offers, messaging, getting people to participate instead of lurk forever, taking action instead of collecting more information, building a personal brand, and generally making business feel a lot less like following someone else’s instruction manual. And none of it is me showing up to regurgitate the same generic business advice your people have already heard a bajillion times 😉 I don’t do copy and paste talks. I don’t have one presentation sitting on my laptop that gets trotted out every time someone hands me a microphone. We figure out what your audience actually needs, what they’re getting stuck on, and what would be useful for them… then I build the conversation around that. That could be a workshop, Q&A, training, hot seats, discussion, or some slightly unhinged combination of the above. For context, I’ve built two community based businesses to six figures, spent nine months as a paid SKOOL creator, and recently spoke at Skool Scale Camp about community engagement and how the way we design our spaces affects whether people actually participate in them. There’s no cost for me to come in 🦄 There is one caveat… your community needs to be established and active enough for this to make sense. If nobody currently shows up for live events, bringing in a guest speaker probably isn’t the magic spell that fixes that 😅 So I’m being a little picky about where I do these. If you run an established SKOOL community with an active audience and want to see if there’s a topic or format that would be useful for your people, DM me and we can figure out whether it’s a good fit.

🎶 I Just Rebranded... Can I Get Your Feedback?
I’ve just completely redesigned my Sound Healing Mastermind around one simple goal: Helping people learn how to use sound to calm the mind, regulate emotions, shift their energy, and reconnect with themselves. You can experience it for yourself, learn how it works, and even explore how to use sound with others. I’ve just finished the new About page and would LOVE some honest feedback from fresh eyes. 👀 👉 Would you take a look and tell me: does it make you want to join? Why or why not? www.skool.com/fatima And if sound healing is your thing, or you'd love to experience it... you’re very welcome to join! ❤️

Why do they want to utilize sound healing? So that _______. Focus on what comes after the so that, and also have they tried sound healing before? What road blocks did they hit going at it alone that you help with? There isn’t anything about you in the about page text copy… not a list of certifications etc but why should they trust you? There is none of your personality in the text copy or slides, it comes off very much like any other sound healing or alternative healing type space, which means they likely are just going to bounce. Harvard did a study showing after 3 bullet points most folks brains sort of turn to mush, so be careful with long lists more isn’t always better. The text and visuals are mostly ok on mobile but the images could have the smaller text slightly larger too. The other thing is do your people like ai? Many alternative woo woo folks I know don’t love ai and many don’t love what it takes to power ai as far as cost to the environment so having very strong ai generated images and even text could also be doing some damage ❤️
😬 One Size Fits Nobody…
Your Content Workflow Shouldn’t Feel Like Someone Else’s Job 😅 A lot of entrepreneurs don’t struggle because they have nothing to say. They struggle because every piece of content feels like they have to force themselves through a process that doesn’t fit the way they naturally think, communicate, or create. I’ve watched people spend forty five minutes trying to record a sixty second video, rewrite the same caption six times, or avoid posting altogether because the advice they were following worked beautifully for someone else… but felt like pulling teeth for them. That’s what led me to build Content by Design inside Fix Your Funk. It’s built around Human Design, not to tell you what to post, but to help you understand how you create best. Some people process by talking. Some need space to think before the words show up. Some thrive with structure. Others do their best work when they can follow a spark instead of a schedule. When you understand your own tendencies, creating content starts feeling a lot less like you’re trying to wear someone else’s shoes. The best content has always sounded like a real person on the other side of the screen. That’s a whole lot easier when the way you’re creating actually fits the way your brain works instead of constantly asking it to work like someone else’s. 👇🏻 What’s one piece of content advice you’ve tried that never seemed to fit the way you naturally create?

@Niamo Muid awesome that you found what works for you!
My brain is open for picking today 😈 #AMASaturday
If you’ve got a business question that’s been bouncing around your head… throw it at me. Before I ever found Skool, I built two community based businesses from scratch to six figures in under two years. Since then I’ve spent months as one of Skool’s paid creators, become mildly obsessed with what makes communities feel like places people actually want to stick around, and helped community owners untangle everything from messaging and engagement to group cards, About pages, offers, and member experience. So… ask me anything 🤪 Skool communities. Engagement. Retention. Group cards. About pages. Offers. Content. Conversions. Consistency. Neurospicy entrepreneurship. Launches. That weird thing your community is doing that you can’t quite put your finger on 😅 Or ask me the oddly specific business question you’ve been carrying around because Google keeps giving you the same generic advice 🙄 I’ll give you my best answer. If I don’t know, I’ll tell you that too… and I’ll probably enjoy figuring it out with you or will go find the answer to bring it back 😈 I have 3 options to choose from if you decide you want to jump into my little neurospicy corner of the internet… want to get more consistent with content, have more folks jump into your community, and/or figure out your messaging and content issues etc? That’s HERE 🦚 Wanna work on getting ai to actually listen and give you images that match what you desire or get better at canva images so your shit doesn’t look like everyone else’s?? That’s HERE 🎨 Want me to take image making off your plate and give you new image concepts that actually land and don’t look like anyone else’s?? Whether it’s your group card/about page, new ad images, or launch graphics That’s HERE 🍌 But, drop your questions 👇🏻 and let’s see what we can get figured out so you can go take some messy AF action and get on with your bad ass self 😉

@Ben Yates probably for you it’s figuring out the benefit of the benefit, or what tangible result that’s not generic in their words that they really desire. Figure that out other things fall into place easier and if you can add more if you and your personality into your messaging that’s also what will set you apart from others in your niche

@Debra Verrall yeah, that works, the goal is always to speak to the ideal client you desire but oftentimes you will get outliers or folks behind or just past your target!

There’s a really fucking annoying part of building the business you keep saying you want… At some point, your actions have to agree with you 😂 You can want more money, more freedom, better clients, offers people actually buy, content people understand, and a business that fits your actual life. You can want the whole damn thing. But wanting it really badly while repeatedly doing everything except the shit that would help build it is a fantastic way to stay in almost. And almost can look VERY productive 😈 Researching. Tweaking. Learning. Planning. Reorganizing. Changing the offer again. Saving a bajillion posts for later. Spending an unreasonable amount of time trying to figure out the perfect way to do something you probably could’ve already tried twice. The shit that would actually give you some useful information is still sitting there waiting for you to do it… Send the email. Make the offer. Post the thing. Ask the question. Follow up. Launch the weird idea. Let somebody actually see the thing you’ve been fucking with for three weeks. Enter from stage left… Fix Your Funk. It’s a business community for neurodivergent, neurospicy, multipassionate, nonlinear entrepreneurs who already have plenty rattling around upstairs and would really like to turn more of it into something tangible. We figure out what’s actually getting in the way, what makes sense to do next, and how to get out of the mindfuckery tornado long enough to fucking do it 🙌🏻 Messy AF action. Evaluate. Refine. Keep fucking going. If you’ve gotten exceptionally good at almost doing the things that could change your business, come find us in Fix Your Funk. 👇🏻 What’s something you know would move your business forward that you’ve been almost doing for way too fucking long?
