⛲️ IS PRESENCE THE FOUNTAIN OF YOUTH? 🌿
DO YOU DO ANY ONE OF THESE FIVE UNHELPFUL THINGS? 🤔 You might take supplements and work out every day, but do you have any of these 5 habits? If so, you still won't feel great and your body will complain. ❓ Do you start with coffee and check your phone? Here's why you may want to reconsider. Coffee, or other strong caffeine , when taken on an empty stomach, spikes cortisol. And think, that pop-up news on your phone feeds anxiety! ➡️ When you start your day with water and movement, your body wakes up better. Plus, your face will lift and your morning won't feel like survival. ❓ Do you eat on the go? The body doesn’t like it. When you chew while answering messages, your body actually interprets that as danger, releasing more cortisol, blocking digestion, and causing inflammation, fatigue, and guilt. ➡️ Instead, sit. Pay attention to your food. Eat. Breathe. ❓ Do you work out while distracting yourself? Mechanical movement causes the body to defend itself. You end up tense in part because lymph stops flowing. ➡️ Move mindfully - it activates regeneration and science confirms it. Five minutes of focus make a bigger difference than a whole hour of mindless sweat. ❓ Do you stay awake because you have to finish things? 🖐 When you skip rest, your body doesn’t have time to remove inflammation byproducts. Your face is puffy and has dark circles. ➡️ Sleep better and you’ll renew. Take the 7 Day Better Sleep Challenge in the classroom for help with this. ❓ Do you stay stuck in your misery? When you forget to notice joy, you age. It's that simple — it’s biochemistry. Without dopamine and serotonin, your body literally turns off regeneration. ➡️ So laugh, dance, get out with friends, play cards, do whatever lights you up. Because joy may the most important health boost we have. ⏳ Your body doesn’t age from time —it ages from how you treat yourself in that time. Be present and enjoy your relationship to yourself and see how much your body and mind change. It takes just 5 minutes a day or so of habit shifts. 🔆
