It is winter. And by that I mean, real winter. In Winnipeg, where I live. -30C (with windchill), a good 10 cm snow, and icy roads. Best conditions for sundogs! And no, I’m not talking about actual dogs. Sundogs are a beautiful phenomenon that appear when there are clear, blue skies and low temperatures (and I mean, high minus double digits, like today), and the ice crystals in the air form a (theoretically) circular rainbow around the sun. A beautiful phenomenon – but also one that is easily missed as it usually only lasts a few minutes. Enter: snowbirds. Those are ALSO not actual animals. These are the Winnipeggers that leave the city for the winter (which can easily last for 5+ months here!) for some warmer areas, like Florida. While I get it… they also miss out on the magic that can be experiences here, like sundogs. Polar lights. The feeling of frozen nose hairs and eyelashes (ok, maybe not that one). What I’m trying to say is: there is beauty even in the seemingly daunting. There is magic to see when we are confronted with extreme situations. The way we see life can be different for different people: seeing the challenges and either evading them (snowbirds) or feeling weighed down by them, OR seeing the opportunities (sundog watchers) and turning it around for ourselves. It is a choice. And a practice. This is what the LIFEsurfers are all about: experiencing the magic and rediscovering the beauty in everyday life that can feel daunting and dull with all its stale routines. Taking back the power to create the life YOU truly love. We’ll show you how to ✨ wake up full of ENERGY, excited for the day to unfold, ✨ actually ENJOY the present moment … instead of just getting through, and ✨ feel authentically CONNECTED to supportive, like-hearted people. In the LIFEsurfers, we dive deep into different topics each month, including energy and time management, relationships, life purpose, productivity and many more,
