HOW IT WORKS - READ THIS FIRST
Ever wonder how you can let people know about your Skool community? Feel like you have so much to offer but don't know how to get people involved? Wish there was somewhere you were actually allowed to promote yourself and talk about your offer? Look no further! The Skool Classifieds are the place where you are not only allowed to promote yourself, but you are actually encouraged to do so! Like the Classifieds section of your local newspaper or the Community Message Board at the gym, this is the place to let people know what you do and what you offer. Here's how it works: 1. Invite other Skoolers you know to join the group using your invite link. The more people join, the more people there are to promote to! 2. You can post once a day only. This is to keep the group from getting spammy. If it's spammy, people won't read and you won't get noticed. Post as many days in a row as you want, but please do not post the same thing day after day - mix it up! 3. Make sure you add your post to the appropriate group/heading. Please see below for a description of what each group is for. If you don't see a group that is appropriate, message me. 4. Self-Promotion is what this group is all about, but please do not DM people with your offers. You will be removed from the group for doing this. 5. Introduce yourself in this thread, and then scroll up and find someone you have something in common with. Reach out. There are some really amazing people here! šŸ˜‰ This is a place for us to support each other for our mutual benefit. Hate speech, offensive language, or general negativity will be deleted, and you will be removed from the group. *Please check out this post for more tips on how to get great results from your posts. And also this post by one of our own community members who has had great success growing his group through the CLASSIFIEDS.

Beyond the Page: Teaching Our Kids to "Read the Room"
Take a moment and think, have you ever seen your child walk into a room and just freeze up? No? What about you, ever entered a room and just froze? It’s called anxious static when we get so worried about how they’re we’re seen we can’t actually see anyone else. It’s a common hurdle, and as we explore literacy we discover literacy doesn't end at the edge of a book; it’s also the ability to walk into a space and understand its "story." When we teach kids to "read the room," we’re building situational awareness and empathy. We’re helping them move from being self-focused to being conscious of others. This shift is a massive social safety net because it turns a scary, unknown space into a series of clues to be discovered. Here’s an activity that lets you put this concept into practice as you and your family become "detectives" in your own homes and learn how to notice the "story" of a space. Your Mission: Find 3 "clues" that tell a story about who was there recently and then reconstruct what happened. Clue 1: A half-full coffee mug on the side table. (Story: Someone was interrupted or had to leave in a hurry.) Clue 2: A single stray sock near the front door. (Story: A quick change happened for soccer practice or a muddy shoe came off fast.) Clue 3: A stack of mail left right by the keys. (Story: Someone just walked through the door and was ready to relax.) We’re sharing our "Room Detective" stories inside the community today. Join us at Connected Through Play to post the "Story" your kids came up with and help them start noticing the world around them. https://www.skool.com/connectthruplay/about

Did you know people can’t upgrade their tier inside the Skool mobile app?!
I’m not even being dramatic when I say… I’m shook. I’ve got someone ready to upgrade right now…but because they’re not tech-savvy, it’s suddenly a whole thing 😩 Like… it should NOT be this hard! I’ve already spoken to support, they’re aware of it and working on it but there’s no ETA on a fix. And yeah, the workaround they gave is helpful. BUT it assumes people have a computer and feel confident using it. And let’s be real, not everyone does. So now I’m sat here with a member who wants to upgrade and literally can’t. Which is wild. Now I’m wondering. Other community owners did you know this? Because I genuinely didn’t. šŸ’ And tell me have you ever had someone ready to buy or upgrade but the tech made it harder than it needed to be?
