We care about Your Family too. A Song for a Member's Son.
One of my member's sons is a world-class javelin athlete in South Carolina. His father is a skool owner and fellow member. He talks about his son all the time. And so as a present for him and his son Ryan, I sent him about five songs for Ryan to listen to and well @Henry Hunter coudn't have been prouder and thanked me in an open letter to the community. His words, "This community (AI STORYTELLERS) exists because Nick believes regular folks should have the tools to tell the stories worth telling. There is a lot of AI slop out there. There is also technology so powerful that, in the hands of a teacher like Nick, it can take a father he's never met and a son he's never met and produce a gospel song that makes a family weep on a Sunday morning before the biggest meet of the year. That is not a parlor trick. That is craft, taste, and care, applied to a tool most people are still using to generate noise." Running in Light, by Nick at AI Storytellers, for Ryan: https://youtu.be/uirKj0Jqdm8

I’m in @Henry Hunter’s community and you could feel the love and passion when he shared this song with us.
The CLASSIFIEDS Premium Tier - Everything You Need to Know!
If you are already on the Premium tier and want to know how to make the most of it, or are thinking about upgrading, here is everything you need to know... ⭐️ 🗞️ In the Standard tier, you can post in the community once a day in any category (except for days with a hashtag prompt, then you get an extra post!). There are two kinds of acceptable community posts: "anything" promoting your Skool group, or offers that are free (freebies, free workshops, podcast promotions, your own YouTube channel promotions). You can see the list of categories in the How It Works pinned post. These "rules" are for both standard and premium members. 🌟 🗞️ Now for the additional benefits for Premium members ($3/month or $33/year) 1. Premium members are allowed to put an "ad" in the classroom to advertise anything they want - free or paid. The ad stays up for as long as they are a premium member. Ads rotate weekly. 📰 You can place your ad by creating a draft course in your own community and then copying the course key and sending it to me to copy into the Classifieds. Course keys can be found by going to the thumbnail of the course in your classroom and clicking on the three dots in the top right corner. 2. Premium members also have access to all live events on the calendar. This includes meetups twice a month (called the PERSONALS) and open drop-ins once a month. 📆 The meetups are structured and focus on improving your visibility as well as helping you make connections and foster collaboration. 3. Premium members also have the opportunity to host their own free masterclass for all members on the CLASSIFIEDS calendar. This gives you the chance to provide value to the members and then pitch your group or product at the end. 💵 In order to qualify to host a masterclass, you have to first take my How to Teach a High-Value, High-Converting Masterclass workshop ($27). The next one is being offered on May 12 with doors opening for registration May 9th.. After taking the prerequisite workshop, the first masterclass you offer is of no charge. Subsequent masterclasses that you would like to offer will be subject to a $10 administrative fee.

Why posting to an empty Skool community is still the right move
When I launched my community in June 2025, I was posting to almost no one. Turning up to calls where I was the only person in the room. Recording replays that maybe two people would ever watch. What kept me going was a simple mindset shift. I stopped thinking about who was there and started writing and speaking as if 200 people were listening. Not pretending. Just deciding that the standard wasn't going to drop because the numbers were low. I still get on calls where nobody shows. I still post the replay. I still write the post. That's not me being delusional about where the community is. That's my understanding that the people who do eventually find it will scroll back, watch the replays, read the posts, and decide whether this is worth their time based on what they see. A thin archive of abandoned content tells them one thing. A consistent body of work tells them something completely different. If your community is quiet right now, that's not a signal to ease off. It's a signal to keep the standard high anyway. The members who matter will arrive at something that looks like it was built for them. If you're running a Skool community and trying to turn it into consistent monthly revenue, this is what we work on inside the Skool Monetisation Lab. https://www.skool.com/skool-growth-lab-2540/about Des Dreckett - Skool Monetisation Lab

I’ve been doing live calls alone and look forward to when others start to join.
Beta Testing for BridgeLearn is open!
Welcome to the beta test. This is the first of three pieces of software that will eventually become part of The Present Parent Project ecosystem, and I’m really excited to finally start putting it into people’s hands. For now, I’d love for you to just jump in and explore. This early beta phase is intentionally simple. I mainly need to know:– Can you log in?– Can you create your account?– Can you add a child or second person?– Can you move through the different sections of the app?– Where does something break, freeze, or become confusing? For testing, you do NOT need to invite your actual child if you don’t want to. You can:– Use a second email yourself– Run it on two separate devices– Invite a trusted friend to test with you There will definitely be growing pains at this stage, and that’s okay. This is the beginning. Over the next several days, I’ll be posting simple feedback questions and feature discussions here in Skool so we can shape the app together. Right now, when giving feedback, please include:– What device you’re using– Your operating system if possible– What happened before the issue occurred I’ll also be posting a simple help guide to show you how to find your device and operating system information if needed. Additionally, I’m creating a beta tester lesson section inside the classroom that will walk through features, testing goals, and updates. That should be live by the beginning of next week. For now, the biggest thing is:Get in. Explore. Break things. Tell me where it breaks first. Thank you again for helping build this from the ground up. https://www.skool.com/the-present-parent-project-773/bridgelearn-beta-testing-is-open?p=3a8bdb57

Hi @Scott Oatrick do we need to join the community to test the app?
Overcoming Sunday Afternoon “I’m Bored Slump"
Parents, can you relate? It’s Sunday afternoon. The "I’m bored" whines are starting to echo through the house. The easiest fix is to hand over a tablet just to get twenty minutes of peace, but that nagging feeling remains the feeling that we’re losing something to a glowing screen. Did you know, in the 1970s, architect Simon Nicholson proposed the "Theory of Loose Parts." He proved that the more "variables" an environment has (sticks, stones, fabric, or even old spoons), the more children interact with it. Boredom isn't a problem to be solved; it’s an invitation for your child to become the architect of their own world. Try this at home, the indoor picnic. Spread a blanket on the living room floor and declare "No chairs allowed" for lunch. Ask your kids how they’d build a "fortress" around the picnic using only pillows and the items in the room. Suddenly, lunch isn't a chore, it's an adventure. You don't have to be perfect to raise creative kids. You just need a little community support. Grab your favorite mug and join our Connected Thru Play Coffee Chat this Sunday, 17 May at 7:30 am CDT. Let's talk about why "I'm bored" is actually the best thing you'll hear all week. Join US and share your "Play Win" today! https://www.skool.com/connectthruplay/about
