🍔 How to get good at stuff and how to not bite a burger
Try, fail, get feedback, than try again, fail, get more feedback. Keep doing it and improving each time. Do it untill you rarelly fail, have people paying you a lot of money and have mostly everything figured out. Than keep on doing it anyway, you'll never be immune to mistakes. Don't ever be afraid of getting roasted. Otherwise you will become like this out of touch CEO surounded by "yes men" who gets shamed online for calling his burger a product. Seriously, who approved this?

Technically, a burger is a product but definitely not what you’d expect it to be called. It did fail and back for more testing. Good reminder here

This is going to be fun
Skool is a moneycentric platform whether you like it or not
Before working with Skoolers I was diving in the world of community management at large, with professionals that use other platforms and talk about the whole thing that is community management regardless of the platform. A lot of community managers hate skool. Some because of the features it lacked one year ago, and that's changing now, specially with the ammount of addons you can install. And the others don't like the philosophy of the owners here. But it's simple to understand. Hormozi and the gang wants to be billionaires, so they will favor those who help them out on their goals. - Native automation triggers only work for paid members - Growth boost favors paid communities - The new discovery is now favoring paid members more than engagement - And now the rating system is also exclusive for paid members. I apprecitate that all of that is opitional and they give you the option of getting out of GB and don't prohibit people from having addons. But as new features are implemented, people are noticing the bias toward paid communities and started complaining about it. @Lidia Axe members are talking lot about that in her group. I still think Skool is a great deal. No other platform offers what Skool offers at the hoby plan. Skoolers alone is worth more than 9 dollars because it's a networking paradise. And on top of that you get a group with unlimited storage in the classroom and unlimited native livestream time? I wonder how that's sustainable. So I'm pretty impartial on the philosophy and ethics of the platforms I use, because if I was I would be a Linux lunatic. I use Windows despite not being a fan of Bill Gates, because it''s what pays my bills. And I use Skool because it's the best deal to build my online business.

@Aimee Jardon lots of platforms for hosting online courses depending on goals and budgets. Zenler, LearnWorlds, Thinkific, Moodle, even Google Classroom.
Cooking with family
Cooking a meal together with family. This can be a great way to connect. And the magic ingredient of playfulness and fun can be added to it. I certainly have felt connected with my "partners in crime" when in the kitchen on Thanksgiving before most of the guests arrive. Relaxed. Free to be yourself. Everyone helping each other. If you'd like more of this, join me on Saturday for the final event in the summit, Unplug & Play. You'll leave with a free gift. And possibly inspiration for starting a new weekly routine. Plus, I'm offering optional free training wheels. https://www.skool.com/connectthruplay/about?ref=644c1fcdee65407082d0eb416a13534e

This is going to be such a great closing session. We all need more play time in the kitchen.
Are you tired of trying to source authenticity?
Same pictures recycled all over the internet. Vintage and Antique ephemera. Free to use in any creative project you have in mind. Print on demand T-shirts, coffee mugs, and posters. This is a wonderland for junk journals! Use the vintage images to create funny greeting cards, emojis, and GIFs. I will be adding content for the rest of my life! Muscle car ads? I got you. Vintage Fashion? It's here! Black & White Photos? Yep, got that too! Vintage greeting cards? So many! Even entire publications...cover to cover! So many postcards! Weird stuff and oddities. Public domain books coming that you can republish and make some cash. One is actually being scanned today. Clean it up with whatever tool works best for you and voila!
