SOTD: Michael Malul Ktoret Santorini
A nice 90 degrees in PHX today so it’s time to break out the spring/summer frags. This is new to my collection and another easy going frag from Michael Malul. I’ll start with the performance and sad to say it’s not great. I got just over 5 hours total longevity with about half of that with okay projection. Next wear I’ll overspray. The scent profile is nice though. It has a spicy grapefruit and sweet apple mixture on first spray which I like. The opening lasts for about 20 mins when I can start to pick up the lavender and nutmeg. The grapefruit stays for a bit longer but the apple fades. The base has sandalwood and amber which as I’ve said before is a great combo. Very laid back vibes on this frag and it’s not in your face. Overall not bad just wish it performed better.

L'homme Ideale Cologne Forte – Guerlain
This is my second full wearing and probably seconds into the day review on this one, so I'll keep it brief. I usually try to mix it up and not review the same ones over and over again. However, in this case because this is a limited edition and I blind bought it based on that alone and liking the line I wanted to wear and share after the hype had died down a little bit from the initial purchase. I have to say that this has not disappointed at all on a second wear. It's now dried down to the base which is undeniably L'Homme Ideale, the almond slightly sweet and powderiness It's definitely in the dry down. It opens with citrus that is present but not lemon or citrus cleaning supply strong more like San Pellegrino citrus if that makes sense. Probably effervescent but not overpowering or in your face. The ginger and other fresh accords really are the first half of this fragrance and the shift to the more almond sweet powdery finish happens gently and pleasantly. So my verdict on the second where is that? This is one of my new top spring and summer fragrances. Projection and longevity are solid without being cloying. It has just enough clean soapy floral musk to also be an effective warmer weather scent but also stand out from typical freshies and blue or green fragrances. Definitely worth sampling before it's gone based on both full wears if you are a fan of the line. I've never had the privilege of trying any of their other freshies so I don't know if it's redundant or not, but as someone who has both the parfum and EDP, this is definitely its own fragrance.
