With the freezing temps, I decided to try out a recent fruity purchase, French Avenue Safari Breeze. Really interesting guava style opening. Let’s see how much performance it gets. I think it will do just fine.

@Lon Chaneyfield it’s supposed to be inspired by Tales from Zanzibar by Memoirs of a Perfume Collector. That interesting guava style note is just so good.

Designer fragrance question
Brothers, My 16 year old son is starting to get into fragrances. He has a small collection of clones and I want to get him a nice designer to broaden his experience with fragrance. What is a good suggestion for a 16 year old?

Maybe consider the Ralph’s Club line.
The Gentleman’s Fragrance
Most exclaim the best gentleman’s fragrance is Creed’s unparalleled Green Irish Tweed or Absolu Aventus. Some would fall back onto the James Bond endorsed Floris London No. 89. Others say the clean and citrusy Dior Eau Sauvage. But I am curious as to what this Brotherhood of Scent thinks is the most gentlemanly of gentleman’s fragrances. Think chairman of the board, high pressure decision maker who handles business with a calm tone and a grin. A signature acent that can be worn year round with ease. From a three piece dark suit to a casual sweater and khakis without missing a beat. Something you think is timeless and transcends the fads and trends we see all too often and are eventually dated ghosts.

I will always be behind Dior Eau Sauvage Parfum as the ultimate gentlemanly fragrance.

I am above 50 and I have been looking to improve myself in all styles. I am hoping to find a positive environment.
