I received this bottle yesterday and was not disappointed on my test sniff! After I went home I decided to give this its first run as a Bedtime scent. The interesting thing for me when I did that is I immediately was reminded of YSL L'Homme EDP. In a good was as I love that fragrance as well. It was a light test with only 1 spray on my chest maybe a touch got on my pajama shirt and 1 spray to walk through. The longevity was great. Woke up this morning and the scent was still there, not overpowering, but you didn't have to hunt for it either. The Vanilla and Sweet come out of the gate hard with the amber and powder right on its heals. I don't get a lot of spice from this at all, but we will see how it goes. I'm wearing it for a full day today as well. I'll be in the office and then to the city for plenty of outside time so it will be interesting to see how it does in that environment. I am also curious to see how the scent may change as the bottle rests for a few weeks in my collection because of the temp swings in shipping? Not sure if that is a "Thing" but it makes sense in my head. Even though its early, I am glad I bought this upon everyones advice. Hope you all have a great day!!

When I first caught sight of this bottle, I was initially cautious. It's clear thelat this is a PDM influences release and to be honest I wasn't a fan of the OG. So I was delighted to find out that it's actually more like Pegasus which I do enjoy. An Oriental Woody fragrance for a fraction of the price.Its a creamy balance of fresh aromatics and warm gourmand notes The opening is fresh and slightly spicy with Bergamot giving a quick, crisp citrus lift, that is immediately balanced by the soft, powdery Heliotrope and a hint of clean, sharp spice from Cumin (some reviewers perceive this more like black pepper or a fresh, clean spice The heart is where the fragrance distinguishes itself. Lavender and Jasmine add a clean, aromatic floral layer, but the star is the Bitter Almond. Yes I am quite partial to an Almond note. The Almond here is smooth, slightly nutty, with a gourmand sweetness. The base is a warm, creamy, Vanilla is prominent, combined with Amber for a rich sweetness. Sandalwood anchors the composition with a smooth, woody dept. How they messed up with Perseus and Pegasus is beyond me. They did a good job with this although it's not quite a refined as the PDM, for the money it drops you in the ballpark. Almost 6 hrs on skin with a moderate projection for the first 2hrs after which it Moves into a noticeable but gentler scent bubble that leaves a pleasant, detectable trail. As always this is best served in the cooler climate. Not a bad looking bottle too. My Rating: 6.5/10 Scent: 2 Longevity: 2 Sillage: 1.5 Y/N: 1
