I’ve been wearing Boss Bottled Absolu on and off all week, and I’ve come to a conclusion that might shock some of you: I actually like BBA more than Carlisle. I know, I know—Carlisle has been my all-time favorite PdM, but there is something about this Boss Absolu that is just hitting different. It’s dark, rich, and sophisticated without the "PdM Tax." Honestly, I’m calling it right now: BBA is my #1 fragrance of this Fall/Winter season. No doubt about it. My decant is almost dry, and a full bottle is definitely happening next. Tuesday Face-Off Video: I’m putting these two head-to-head to explain exactly why this $125 designer is outclassing the $400 niche giant. Stay tuned for that one! In the meantime, am I crazy? Or has anyone else smelled this and realized Boss actually created a masterpiece here?

I really love the Floris Santal, but the Longevity just doesn't last long enough for me. I have not however, tried it on clothing yet so TBD on that. I got a sample of the Floris Santal Intense which is an EDP version and I thought maybe this would work better so I'm giving it a whirl! The scent itself is a bit richer than the regular Santal which you would expect from the Intense version. Time will tell, but it is a very nice warm with a little spice that just sits well on me.
