Got a sample of Bleu de Chanel L’Exclusif in the mail today, and wow, this might be the version I’ve been waiting for. I’ve worn every one, EDT, EDP, and Parfum, and they all had their place, but L’Exclusif feels like what Bleu was always meant to become. It’s smoother, quieter, and more confident. The opening still carries that familiar citrus-woody signature, but it’s rounded now, like the edges have been softened by time. The incense and sandalwood melt together perfectly with no harshness or synthetic bite. Just a warm, creamy depth that feels effortlessly refined. What stands out most is the way it sits on skin. It doesn’t project in that loud, “I just sprayed something” kind of way. It radiates in this subtle halo, like it knows its worth. Less performance, more presence. If the earlier versions were different phases of a young man finding himself, L’Exclusif is the version that’s settled into who he is. Same story, just told with experience. It’s easily my favorite Bleu yet. The kind of scent you wear when you’re done proving a point. You just are the point.

Hey guys, you really helped me complete the #NoBuySept challenge with heaps of encouragement and the occasional sample coming in clutch!! I only think it fitting that the #Brotherhood help choose my humble reward for enduring such a grueling endeavor. So I set out a poll awhile back and the results were overwhelming, LV Imagination took the prize!! I love the citrus in this one, combined with the fizz of ginger, Imagination is bright and uplifting. It works perfectly in warm weather and isn't overpowering, making it almost universally versatile! The base of black tea helps ground the citrus and ginger, not letting them get too out of hand. It provides a nice peaceful calming effect! Combined together, Imagination puts a smile on my face while brightening my mood and serves as a welcoming reminder of the greatest fragrance community on the planet, the #BrotherhoodofScent !
