2 AM Good Friday arrival from vacations. I just finished emptying my bags and organizing everything (the jet lag is real). Just wanted to make a quick share of the dent I made to the 2 fragrances (one for the day and one for the night) that traveled with me for 20 days. They were practically new before vacation. But the 9PM Rebel atomizer extracts a lot of juice. 😬😅

This is a relatively recent addition to Zara’s fragrance lineup, often associated with their outdoors themed collections. It comes across as a more rugged cousin to the viral Red Temptation, with a leather meets sweet profile. Red Rodeo is a Amber Woody fragrance with a touch of leather. It strikes a balance between modern sweetness and earthy textures. The opening is surprisingly bright, with a juicy bergamot. In contrast, the strawberry is not a sweet candy scent; it’s more of a tart, airy fruitiness. The core is where the Rodeo name comes in. The leather is smooth think a new suede jacket rather than a smoky animalic hide. The fir balsam adds a green, slightly resinous forest like dept. The dry down is warm and fuzzy. Cashmeran provides a skin like musky texture, while the vanilla & amber keep it from becoming too harsh or masculine. Although this is an edp concentration, as with most Zara bottles, the best performance you can expect to get is 4 to 5hrs on skin. You do get a nice scent bubble for the first 90min, but It isn't a room filler like Red Temptation, Best used in Autumn / Winter. Great for Night outs, casual autumn walks, or office wear.
