I enjoy crafting these short reviews and found "the less is more" thinking with them. Here's one that's also my scent of the day; LORE Fragrances Sublimity. The definition of the word is the quality of being sublime. It describes something that is so grand, beautiful, or excellent that it inspires great admiration, awe, or even a sense of spiritual elevation. This is a great "beach day/ cool to warm weather/ out in the sun" wear. Ylang ylang, coconut nectar and sandalwood tie this together in a neat light fragrance that isn't loud and great for the workplace. Having received this a few months ago, the wear of it today is impressionable; I heard some teammates admiring how great I smelled this morning. The fragrance lived up to it's name and meaning. About LORE - it didn’t begin in a corporate boardroom. It started as an invisible connection between three close friends: Mel, Greg, and Joe. Driven by a shared vision of human connection and emotional storytelling, they set out to build a brand that translates the human experience into scent. Today, that friendship has grown into LORE—a world of complex, rich, and deeply emotional fragrances designed to take you somewhere. The three founded LORE on the belief that scent is a universal language. Instead of telling you how to feel, LORE’s fragrances invite new meaning through your own unique wear. Every scent is a juxtaposition—comforting yet unexpected, familiar but entirely new. True to the founders' values, the company is built on absolute inclusivity. Every product is intentionally designed to transcend traditional labels, welcoming all: - Genders and fluid identities - Personal histories and emotional journeys - The unique "things we carry" as human beings At it's heart, LORE is more than a luxury product line. It is a distinct way of seeing ourselves and each other. It honors the stories we share and the realities we shape together. The founders embrace the philosophy that life and community are beautiful, big, and a little bit broken. Through LORE, they prove that within those cracks, everything is possible.
