🧄 What’s the Best Way to Layer Leather Scents?
Leather can go in so many directions - smooth, smoky, or sweet. When you layer, what do you pair it with most? - Amber - for warmth and depth - Smoke - for that dark, mysterious edge - Vanilla - to smooth it out - Woods - for a grounded, natural vibe - I don’t layer leather - it’s bold enough alone šŸ’¬ Drop a comment if you’ve got a combo that always gets compliments.

Looking for a warm spicy scent. What’s your favorite?
Hey brothers, I’m looking for a rich, warm spicy scent to add to my cooler weather collection. Fragrantica lets you search by specific notes but not main accords like ā€œwarm spicyā€, so I could use some crowdsourcing help. Ideally a designer or accessible niche (not crazy expensive but not a cheapie/dupe, and not too challenging). Iā€˜ve got tobacco and vanilla focused fragrances pretty well covered - l don’t mind some sweetness in the new one, but I’d love more depth and richness that doesn’t go in an overly sweet direction. I like amber, woods and spices, but leather, oud and boozy notes can be a challenge. Iris, Rose, Plum, Florals, Almond and Oud notes are a hard no. Any suggestions? What’s your favorite? In terms of cooler weather frags that have a Fragrantica ā€œwarm spicyā€ accord at or near the top, I have and love: - TF Noir Extreme, Oud Wood - ATH Tabac Extreme - Swiss Arabian Incense 01 - Lalique OmbrĆ© Noire - Boss Bottled Absolu - YSL La Nuit EDT Here are some near misses I’ve tried: - Sauvage Elixir: comes very close but I don’t love the licorice and maybe the nutmeg. Same for Gisada Ambassador Intense - Spicebomb Extreme: nice but I get something like a strong cumin which I don’t love. Don’t love the other flankers either - Bulgari MIB: nice but something about it (the leather, I think) doesn’t work for me. - Oud for Greatness: I really want to like this one but don’t think I can get past the earthiness - Blonde Amber: comes close, but it didn’t blow me away for the price - I have yet to find an Amouage warm spicy scent that I like… Boundless, Decision and Outland are no’s What’s your favorite? What should I try out?
SOTEvening: Versace Eros Flame
Back at work again… quick shower and a new frag. Went with this Eros flanker since the weather is nice. It’s my first wearing of this in several months. Performance and longevity are both good on this one. Enjoy your evening gents.
