Guerlain Bergamot Fantastico Extrait
Last night I was poking around the Guerlain website looking to see if there were any samples I wanted to try and would make my list for when I go back to the store to see is my sales associate could get me a couple. As I was telling my wife which ones I was interested in she goes “I have that one” “I have that one” yes “Inhave that one too” 🙄🤣 This is what happens when you both share the hobby but don’t keep your collections together 🤷♂️ Without saying a word She went to her collection and left me this one to try today as a surprise. I have to say this one is really nice. It has some spice to it but the projection is about 2’-4’ I’m 5hours in and the longevity is still here and making its presence known (in a good way) I’m glad my wife left this for me.

Slay the Sample: Nomad extrait by French Avenue
Nomad is an Oriental Woody Extrait de Parfum, launched in 2025 & created by perfumer Jordi Fernández . It’s part of the Dubai‑based French Avenue line (a sub brand to Fragrance World) My first impression: it doesn’t smell like a cheap clone; it has a distinct “sea‑spice‑amber” identity that feels like a modern travel scent. Itsqfresh, salty, warm, and never boring. It’s not trying to be a copy of one thing, more a hybrid with its own vibe. The note pyramid is clean, with a Saffron & Lemon opening. Its bright, zingy citrus with rich, golden saffron, no harshness, just an expensive‑looking spicy‑citrus opening. The core has Marine notes & White flowers, for a clean, salty mineral freshness that's balanced with soft, creamy white florals; it never smells “soapy,” just like ocean breeze mixed with subtle elegance. At the Base: Vanilla, Cypriol, Amber & Patchouli add a smooth, slightly smoky earthiness. Not sure what it's trying to copy, I was expecting an ombre dupe perhaps, but you quickly realize it ain't that. Performance is okavour4hrs on skin, it projects well for about 90m. A solid, unique workhorse if you like salty‑spicy‑amber scents. My rating 5.5/10 Scent 1.5 Longevity 1.5 Sillage 1.5 Y/N 1
