In response to a recent post, I found a bottle of Michael Malul Oxford Row that was recently purchased from a rack store. Really nice floral and aromatic opening. Definitely on the reserved side as far as sillage. Over sprayed because I’m not expecting great performance.

I saw the note breakdown on this last week, was intrigued and decided to give it a shot. My 10ml (I call this size mega-testers) came in yesterday, I gave it a quick try last night for the full wear today. Starts off real fruity and sweet, my nose mostly gets the pear and a touch of the plum notes. This quickly fades into the floral mid where I do get the rose and maybe one of the other florals, not so much the iris. This is where the fragrance leans more to the feminine side. Not in a bad way but then, as it dries down to the more woody/musky base where I think this frag really shines. Performance seems fairly good for a quick spray on the wrist but I'll know more after a full day today. Initial impressions is that I dig this one. It really transforms through the course of a few hours. From youthful at the start to slightly feminine, then to more masculine. We'll see if anything changes too after a few weeks to let it settle after shipping. I have Ocean Noir coming in today too from the Amazon Prime day sale so this is a real Michael Malul week!
