First time this year its actually felt 'warm' - so have broken out this one after a long hibernation. I've tried a lot of Versace's range, and this remains my favourite in terms of a fresh summer wear. Loving that Star Fruit note!

Khamrah Qahwa was launched back in 2023 but didn't hit our shores until 2 years later. It's an oriental vanilla fragrance with a prominent gourmand character. It's warm, spicy & sweet, reminiscent of an what an oriental coffee shop filled with freshly baked desserts might smell like! Presentation on this is next level, fancy box, display stand with reflective surface. Bottle is the standard squared whiskey glass design. Did you know the Qahwa is arabic for coffee? The opening is a vibrant and warm explosion of cinnamon, cardamom, and ginger, providing a spicy and inviting kick. The fragrance then transitions to a sweeter, more gourmand heart with praline, candied fruits with a subtle touch of white flowers. The praline adds a creamy, soft caramel note, while the candied fruits add a juicy balance to the spices. As you can imagine the drydown is the star of the show. Featuring a deepblend of coffee arabica, vanilla, tonka bean, benzoin & musk. The coffee & vanilla create a dessert ike sensation, with tonka bean & benzoin adding warmth & depth. The musk finishes it off beautifully with a soft, enveloping finish. All the Khamrahs have good performance, although I still swear that sharaf blend is a superior option to the original. You get a solid 8hrs here, longer on clothing. With a good protection for the first 2 to 3hrs. It has a beautiful scent bubble that will see you through the best part of your day. A woody aromatic fragrance created by Thierry Wasser. It has a fresh citrus opening, a signature amaretto style almond heart, and a woody base of cedar, vetiver, and some leather. Top notes of citruses, bitter orange, orange blossom, and rosemary give a slightly aromatic freshness. In the heart is the almond which feels creamy, slightly cherry like, without being cloying. It’s blended with tonka for a smooth, sweet amaretto accord. In the base is soft woods, vetiver, and a hint of leather. It’s masculine and dry, keeping it from going too gourmand. Its classy, elegant, and versatile. It’s wearable for office or daily use. It is sophisticated and stands out from generic fresh or blue fragrances. Performance is decent to good, providing 6–7 hours on skin. Projection/sillage is moderate. It performs solidly for its concentration and feels easy to wear. It’s best in spring/summer/fall. It’s unique, high quality, smooth, well blended, and elegant overall. It’s versatile without being generic, and a good value on discounters. I highly recommend!
