My newest pickup from my favorite Australian fragrance house. I waited a while to pick this one up because there aren’t too many reviews that were positive about it. And with that said I blind bought it. Luckily it’s better than people say. Just goes to show that it’s better to try than take someone else’s opinion. Now onto the fragrance. It opens up with a nice woodiness and a touch of lavender. Not a super sweet lavender, just a touch to even out the woodiness from the cypress. The lavender and cypress stick around for the life of the frag even as the anise kicks in after about 10 mins. I actually dig the licorice smell it gives off. It’s not overpowering. I don’t think I can detect the cloves or patchouli. It’s quite linear as it doesn’t have to much of a transition. I don’t mind though. My only gripe with this one is the projection isn’t that good. It lasted about 6 hours on my skin but only projected for the first 2 then it became much more intimate with about a 6 inch bubble. (Or I went nose blind because my daughter said it was strong smelling). Overall a blind buy win and a non offensive scent IMO.
