Decant Supplier Review - Scent Split
Whazzup everyone!! And our final decanter in my review, we have: Scent Split. Wow, Scent Split, uhm, yeah. No one can really go online to any fragrance social media outlet and NOT hear about Scent Split! They are everywhere and probably the single most promoted decanter amongst all the whoās-who fragrance influencers. Even the spiel is uncannily similar! I also believe Scent Split is more active in the fragrances groups due to their amazing speed in responding to comments/criticisms. Signs of good customer serviceā¦..maybe. So, Iāve only ordered a couple of things through Scent Split, their website is a bit clunky and needs some updating. They also need to stay on top of their pricing as errors sometimes results in ātoo good to be trueā deals! Scent Split, to their credit, did have the highest number of available fragrances, well over 3900. They have the most common fragrances across designers and niche and also have some harder to find indie. Fragrances can be grouped by gender, brands and by top picks. They can be sorted by notes as well. Also, and this refrain may sound familiar to you too: āAvailable sizes are 1 milliliter, 2 milliliter, 5 milliliter and 9 milliliterā Yeah, as for different sample size options, 4 is just average among this group. As of this review, prices for a 5ml of some common frags are: Naxos (26.99), Layton (19.99), Angelās Share (34.99) BR540-EDP (Not Available at the time), Aventus (27.99) and Cedrat Boise (16.99). The sample I purchased for these reviews is Cedrat Boise - 5ml. Pricing of representative sample frags was well above average for the group, even after adjusting for the lack of Baccarat Rouge 540. The average pricing across the samples was also higher than the average for the whole group. The only thing I could possibly interpret as a āperkā is the VIP Customers section (for those that create an account). Every now and again, a 10% discount code would pop up here. Thatās it. Speaking of discount codes, thatās the only type I could find on the internet. The best Iāve ever seen is a 12% code, seldom and randomly given out. Shipping options are so-so at Scent Split, offering a sparse 4 different choices. The one thing I did notice was that Scent Split ships worldwide. Thatās just enough of a nudge to get a point in this category. Scent Split also works with SHOP, a free app that helps you securely sign in, helps track your packages, and rewards you in SHOP Cash for purchases made using the SHOP app. A much needed perk in an otherwise sparse field!
