I received an email in my junk mail. Normally, I scan quickly to see if there is anything legitimate. Anyways, I saw this email that was a phishing attempt. Someone pretending to be FedEx. I chatted with my malware chat and it told me to forward the email to
[email protected]. So I did that. What happens next? FedEx rejected the email. Why? : Delivery has failed to these recipients or groups:
[email protected] message wasn't delivered because the destination email system rejected your message for security or policy reasons. For example, the email address might only accept messages from certain senders, or it might not accept certain types of messages, like those larger than a specific size. Contact the recipient (by phone, for example) and work with them and their email admin to determine what policy or setting blocked your message and what you should do to make sure that future messages from you won't be rejected. For more information, see Status code 5.7.1. So, the phishing email inbox they set up, wouldn't accept the phishing email that they want sent there. So, I continue my quest to find a way to let FedEx know, because I MUST. I started this quest and I need to finish it. Thank you ADHD hyperfocus. Sadly, I cannot do anything more but delete this and now, I have an unfinished task that I started and spent time on. Too much time frankly. And then, additional time to share with the community who doesn't care that FedEx doesn't want my phishing report. c’est la vie
