Hi, i'm Sandra I'm 56, my sister has just been given a year to a year and a half to live at 48. I'll be the last family member left as a lot of my family have died of cancer or a heart attack at a young age. I have 3 grown up children. 2 small grandchildren and another on the way. I've started taking my health and life choices seriously. I have people who rely on me. I'm doing everything i can to make sure they still have me around.

Of you don't have your health you have nothing. Anytime isna good time to start and im glad your here taking initiative for your well being. Sorry for all your losses and I'll pray for your sister. I hope this group helps you on your journey
Pike push ups
I'm trying to get a float on these pike push ups, I think I need to stabalise the bent arm position at the bottom of the pike for better control maybe.

🌋 Floor Is Lava Mobility Week
This week’s challenge is a weird one 😆 You have to do 1 different mobility stretch or position every day… But you are NOT allowed to do it on the ground. That means: • no floor pancake • no floor pike • no sitting stretches on the ground • no lying down and pretending that counts 👀 You have to find a way to do your mobility somewhere else. Examples: • on a couch • on stairs • on a chair • on a bench • at a desk • on a counter • hanging from something • anywhere random and creative ✅ The rules • Do 1 mobility stretch or position every day • It has to be a different one each day • You are not allowed to do it on the ground • Post it in the comments if you want extra points for creativity 😄 🎯 The goal The goal is to: • make mobility more fun • get you trying new positions • stop overthinking it • show that movement can happen anywhere 🏆 Bonus points Most random spot wins. I did pike on a box
Elbow lever
I put a foam roller under my arms in this position and I was finally able to lift my legs. Ive tried this twice and couldn't figure it out but today I actually did it. Im hoping it will help me get use to that position especially the legs being lifted.

Handstand
I just kicked up in handstand I did have my head on yoga blocks but I got up and held it. So happy.

@Brandon Beauchesne-Hebert its teaching me to push more through the shoulders and i was shocked at first and lost balance shifted to side lol but after that I was kicking up with control not force and I was able to hold it. So much fun being upside down.
