The case of the missing wallet...
I definitely gave up on finding my wallet. I ordered replacements for everything which was relatively easy, thank God. This morning, a kind stranger showed up at our door with my wallet! Guinzly and the wrist strap are gone, along with my key fob, and based on the appearance of the wallet I would guess they are crushed on the side of the road somewhere. All of my cards and license were still inside. The man was on a bike ride, saw it on the side of the road, and took the time to come to the address on my license and return it to me. This is one of those reminders that even in this crazy world there are good people everywhere. Even though I already replaced everything, it brightened my day to see that someone went out of his way to do the right thing for a perfect stranger. How did my wallet end up on the side of the road? I have theories, starting with I accidentally threw it away and when the garbage truck dumped the bin it fell onto the road. Where is my Guinzly keychain? I can only hope he's in a better place. šŸ™šŸ¼šŸ™šŸ¼ Have a blessed day everyonešŸ–¤

A story like this is so heartwarming šŸ’• I’m sorry you lost your Guinzly though 😢
Change of plans
I was all set and hyped for these gains… but life had other plans 😭 Was just tidying up around the house and ended up throwing my back out—typical, right? So it’s physio, mobility work, and taking it slow for now… but I’ll be back at it and joining you properly soon šŸ’Ŗ Good Luck on your gains journey!

Injuries are so frustrating, especially when you are in the zone and hyped for strength training. Please take care of yourself and take the time to rest xx

@Usra Shah We can be injury twins!! Both of us are ready and raring to go but our bodies are letting us down 🤪
Well, lesson learned..
No walking for a few days.. I miss it already! I'm definetly hooked šŸ˜… If I had been in another place, in some mountain somewhere, I wouldn't be able to choose, blisters or no blisters. šŸ¤” But now I can and I choose the promise to myself - to enjoy and not overdo this walking vacation. And it has been, as I thought, a practice for future walks. I didn't think I was able!! So a huge win! šŸŽ‰šŸŽ‰ I will not rest but heal, mayby I continue to the planned goal at the end of this week, mayby further ahead, at a weekend. Now I have to go shopping again.. need new shoes..
Well, lesson learned..

I think our Queen of the Step Count should enjoy every minute of shopping for new shoes. You’ve got to look after those precious feet šŸ‘ šŸ‘ŸšŸ’•

Injury doesn’t mean giving up!
Ten days ago I injured my knee and had no choice but to stay still for the first five days, with limited mobility after that. I can’t get out for my daily, head-clearing walk. I can’t do my workouts and bask in the post-gym glow. I spent days 5 and 6 eating my emotions. BUT…. My wonderful coach, @Tyler Lo has spent ALOT of time asking me a million questions about my mobility and doing a deep dive into what I can and can’t do. I’ve now got three completely new workouts to follow that I can 100% do without compromising my recovery, and without having to go to the gym. (I’m pretty much house-bound at the moment!) SO….. My own personal lesson I’m taking from this is that injury does not mean giving up, it’s about adjusting my understanding of how to stay healthy and taking care of my body. It’s not about needing a perfectly working body in order to achieve greatness. It’s not about having some fancy gym membership. It’s about making the most of the mobility you are lucky enough to have. It’s about sticking with the program through thick and thin. It’s about making the choice to keep showing up in any way that you can. And, for me, the most important thing is having a great Coach who is always ready to fight my corner and having this amazing community to keep me smiling 😊

@Jennifer Crafton Thank you 🫶 Coach Tyler is amazing. I would have gone insane by now if it wasn’t for him 🤪
Don't skip mobility.
If you are ever wondering whether or not the mobility exercises are doing anything, try accidentally going two weeks without doing them...and then do them again and see how you feel... But don't actually do that because it sucks because they're working trust me!!!!

@Kathleen Haney This is soooo true!! I was consistently doing mobility work before workouts and I felt great. However…. When work started to get manic and I had to squeeze gym time in, I began rushing or missing parts of my mobility work. As a result of this, I’m now on day 20 of a knee injury. I still can’t walk on it so I’m going insane!!! DON’T SKIP MOBILITY!!
