Hi, I’m Kelly from Cambridge, England
Some of you may already know my reason for joining BBB so I’ll give you a brief summary.
I’ve always been lean and active, and have never had to worry about my weight until three and a half years ago when I had a brain haemorrhage and stroke at the age of 42. My husband and two daughters, who are my entire world, were told that I wouldn’t survive and that, if I did, I probably wouldn’t be able to walk or talk. Thankfully, I beat the odds and, over the course of three years, I learned to walk and talk again. Unfortunately, being inactive for so long meant that I gained A LOT of weight.
In April, I joined my local gym and lost a few lbs but didn’t make much progress. In August this year, through the magical power of Instagrams algorithms, I came across Coach Darren’s wise words. The rest is history (and future!)
🎯 My main goal is to be healthy and strong. I’ve already missed out on too much time with my daughters. I’m doing this so they can have their Mum back.
My second goal, and I can’t believe I’m sharing this, is for my husband to find me attractive again.
⏳ If I were on death row, my last meal would be Nando’s chicken butterfly with rainbow slaw and tenderstem broccoli.
