Keto bread!
Hi everyone! I tried out another surprising bread recipe and it turned out really good, so thought I'd share. This is a keto gluten free bread recipe I saw on YouTube (Ela Vegan channel). It basically has zero carbs - which I didn't think was possible for bread! I was doubtful this would work, but it did! You need: - 240g whole golden flaxseeds - 40g psyllium husk powder - 2 tsp baking powder - 4g salt - 320ml hot water And here's how you make it: 1. Pre-heat your oven at 180°C - set it to fan heat 2. Grind the flaxseeds to a fine powder (I used my Thermomix, but I guess the best is to use a spice or coffee grinder) 3. Put the flaxseed powder in a bowl and add the psyllium husk powder, baking powder and salt. 4. Mix 5. Add the water and mix. I had to add about 2 tbsp of water as it was a bit too dry. 6. Form this into a bread and place on a non-stick baking paper 7. Bake for 50 minutes My bread almost tripled in size, it was quite impressive! It tastes really nice. The only thing I'd say is the texture is quite light. I like it but I prefer my usual loaves of gluten free bread that have a bit more "substance", if that makes sense. Anyway, hope this inspires someone! Definitely an easy loaf to make and it's great that it's without carbs.

Adenomyosis and coeliac disease
Good evening all, Happy Friday! Bit of a weird thing happened today, would be interested to hear your insight please? In the last couple of years I have been diagnosed with coeliac disease and adenomyosis (similar to endometriosis). As a result, I have gained some weight but also suffer with bloating some of the time. A male colleague spoke to me today after his female colleague had asked him if I was pregnant. The way he worded it was quite… blunt, and upsetting but he didn’t mean to cause offence (it really did though!!). Firstly, does anyone else also have adeno? Secondly, what’s everyone’s top tips for not being bloated? I don’t know whether to say something to the female colleague regarding ‘women supporting women’ or explain that my medical conditions cause the bloating. Or even to add that due to the adeno, I may struggle to conceive, so whichever way you look at it, his and her comments were super hurtful. It’s made me cry a couple of times since, and I just feel… glum 😔 Why are people so mean?! Sorry for the long post… xx

@Bryony L ❤️ Thank you Bryony - it’s odd, isn’t it, that some people think it’s ok to ask people questions like that. It’s been such an eye opener. I think I will say something so they can learn from it and not upset anyone else…

@Heidi Sundal Thank you Heidi 💕 So sorry you have adenomyosis too. Our bodies do put us through it! I’m pleased your pain has gone now. Do you think the bloating is connected to coeliac or remnants of what you went through or something else? Sounds likes you are a real warrior 💪🏻 xx
Holiday tips 🏖️
Hi everyone, Does anyone have experience of visiting Sorrento / the Amalfi Coast as a coeliac please? To complicate matters, I’m also vegetarian 😬 Thank you xx

Youtube workouts
Anyone have any favourites? Looking for good at home workouts- especially involving strength training/dumbbells! I've tried some Sydney Cummings videos and loved them but wondering if others exist out there!

Getting to understand Coeliac
Hey everyone! I’m Kiah, I’ve been a coeliac for just under 4 years now. I have so many questions 😂 so I’ll put them below and over time, I’d love to understand them ☺️ • Can coeliacs absorb vitamin tablets as well as others? I’ve seen a lot of studies saying we can’t? • How can I work out regularly (I love weight training and Pilates) but I tire so easily. So I’d like to know how to maintain my energy • How come I’m so tired even after 8 hours of sleep? I could go on for hours! But I feel like these pop up the most in in my head throughout my daily routines 🤍

These are great questions! Interested to know what others think 😊 I’ve only been diagnosed for a year or so, so still have much to learn ❤️
