Congratulations to Warren Money!
Congratulations to our own @Warren Money for closing the blue circle around his bio image! The blue circle moves around as we accumulate points. Warren is the first to do it in the Watch Lovers Community! I think @Gunny Khan and @Brian McGuire closed their circles in the Real Men Real Style Group, and @Renato Carotti and @Lon Chaneyfield in the Brotherhood of Scent Group. But no one had in the Watch Group yet, I don't believe. So, not many have done it. But our friend Warren Money just did! Well done, my friend!! 😀
Congratulations to Warren Money!

The most expensive mistake in watch collecting isn't the watch
You've seen it happen — maybe you've lived it. A piece that looked right on paper, felt wrong on the wrist, and lost value the moment you tried to move it. A "deal" from a seller whose reputation you couldn't verify. A reference you passed on because you didn't know enough yet, and regretted six months later. None of that is a spending problem. It's an information problem. And information in this hobby isn't hard to find — it's hard to trust. YouTube has opinions. Forums have arguments. Hype pages have agendas. None of it tells you what to do with your specific budget, taste, and collection goals. That's the gap Watch Lover Premium closes. You get direct access to serious collectors and experts who've made the mistakes so you don't have to. Live calls where you can bring a real purchase decision and leave with a real answer. Trusted vendor relationships built over years, not hours of research. A community where the baseline level of knowledge is genuinely high. The collection you're trying to build in two years, alone — some of these men built it in twelve months, together. The room you're in determines the speed you move at. WOTD - Day #13 April Challenge
SO I grabbed out Big Red, it pretty much always screams at me to grab it just by the shear size and heft of it. I mean at close to 250Grams it is basically a wrist weight 😂 This was my first ever Automatic watch, it was purchased on the first cruise we took as a family, (that being My wife, 2 daughters and myself), when we cruised to Alaska in April 2024, just 2 years ago. It is still a terrific piece even at 55mm Lug to Lug (thankfully they Curve Down) and 15.7mm Thick and 247 grams, it just looks so damn solid and able to anchor any outfit, Or boat for that matter 😂

Day #10 of the 30 Day Challenge → Militado Field Watch
Happy Field Watch Friday! A dreary day this morning, so going with my Militado ML05 38mm VH31 Quartz Field Watch with its happy orange, sunburst dial to brighten things up a bit. I do not have a "plan" guiding my collection. I merely pick up things I like along the way. But for some reason, I seem to have kept all of my field watches to either traditional black or cream-colored dials, with one white. I went in search of a second white, the white dial Militado that I love, and came across this one along the way -- with this amazingly beautiful orange sunburst dial. With "orange" being my favorite color, clouds suddenly parted, the heavens opened in a radiant glow, a gentle warmth settled over me, angels sang, and one for perfect moment everything felt right. Then my head was immediately filled with flashbacks of favorite sunburst guitars over the years! Without thinking, my hand instantly hit the "Buy It Now!" button. So, that's my story and I'm sticking to it. Best wishes for a Fantastic Field Watch Friday! 😀
