Kick development thanks to FlexTheory
Just wanted to share a short clip from class where we did a kicking drill I didn't think I'd be able to do at 45 years of age and 2.5 years of learning martial arts.
We did 20 sets of this per leg (1 set is a front kick, roundhouse and hook kick) and some extra while moving forwards.
A huge thanks to Andre's FlexTheory for helping me to build a mind-body connection and strength to my glutes, hamstrings, and my glute-hamstring junction so far. I've done FT for a little over 6 weeks now. This has given me greater balance, more opened hips (I've still got way more to go in that department), and the ability to change directions quicker.
