✨ Gentle Aura & Energy Cleansing (Trauma-Informed)
If you’re feeling heavy, overstimulated, emotionally sticky, or not quite yourself, it doesn’t mean anything is “wrong” with you. It often means your nervous system and energetic boundaries need support.
Aura or energy cleansing is not about fixing, forcing, or removing parts of you — it’s about releasing what isn’t yours and returning to yourself.
Below are gentle, consent-based ways to cleanse and reset your energy.
🛁 Salt Baths (Physical + Energetic Reset)
Salt helps discharge excess energy and soothe the nervous system.
How to use:
  • Add sea salt, Epsom salt, or Himalayan salt to warm water
  • Step in slowly, feeling the support of the water
  • Stay 10–20 minutes (no forcing)
Visualisation (optional):Imagine the water drawing heaviness out of your body and into the earth to be neutralised.
🌀 If baths aren’t accessible, a salt foot soak works beautifully too.
💎 Crystals (Containment & Grounding)
Crystals don’t “fix” — they support intention and regulation.
Helpful options:
  • Black tourmaline / obsidian – grounding & protection
  • Amethyst – calming & clarity
  • Rose quartz – gentleness & self-compassion
Hold the crystal, place it nearby, or rest it on your body.Less is more — notice how your body responds.
🔥 Palo Santo (Clearing with Intention)
Smoke cleansing works best when paired with conscious intention, not habit.
How to use:
  • Light briefly, then blow out the flame
  • Gently waft smoke around your body or space
  • Open a window if you can
Say silently or aloud:“I release what doesn’t belong to me. I call my energy back gently.”
⚠️ If smoke feels overwhelming, skip this — your body’s response matters most.
🌬 Breathwork (Regulation First)
Aura cleansing without nervous system regulation can feel destabilising.
Try this instead of intense breathwork:
Practice:
  • Inhale slowly through the nose (4 counts)
  • Exhale through the mouth (6 counts)
  • Repeat for 2–5 minutes
Longer exhales signal safety to the body.
🧘 Meditation (Soft, Not Forced)
You don’t need to “clear your mind.”
Try this:
  • Sit or lie comfortably
  • Place one hand on your chest, one on your belly
  • Notice where you feel you inside your body
Let awareness do the work.
👁 Visualisation (Reclaiming Energy)
Visualisation is powerful when it feels safe and resourcing.
Gentle option:
  • Imagine a soft light around your body
  • Not blocking — buffering
  • Anything heavy gently drains away
  • Your own energy returns to you calmly
No colour or image is “right” — trust what comes naturally.
🌿 Important Reminder
If you’ve experienced trauma or abuse, your system may already be hyper-alert.
Energy work should feel:✔ grounding✔ calming✔ optional
If anything feels activating, pause.Safety always comes before spiritual practice.
You don’t need to cleanse harder. You need to come home to yourself gently.
