Mar 3rd - LIVE Call w/ Gentleman’s Gazette Founder
On Tuesday, March 3rd from 10AM to 11AM, we're bringing in the man himself — Sven Raphael Schneider, founder of Gentleman's Gazette - for a private, no-BS live Q&A. No fashion fluff. No influencer nonsense. Just one of the most respected voices in classic men's style, answering your questions directly. Here's what we're getting into: - The real rules of timeless style - how to look sharp in actual life, not just a photoshoot. - The small details (fit, fabric, proportion, restraint) that instantly signal taste and authority. - The classic style traps that make good guys look like they're wearing a costume. - How to build a wardrobe where everything actually works together. - When to honor tradition — and when to break it with intention. - And Sven's philosophy on why how you dress is a form of respect — for yourself and everyone in the room. If you want that quiet, effortless "this guy clearly knows what he's doing" energy - this is the call! ✅ Premium & VIP members: You're already in. See you there! 👀 Free members: This is your sign. Click here to upgrade your membership before March 3rd and don't miss it!

Although I am a financial advisor-my make-up isn’t the same as the three accountants whom I am headed out to see. I am both thankful for their expertise and grateful that I am not one. Especially this time of year. Their sense of details are remarkable to me. Nevertheless I like to go the extra mile and drop by and see my clients tax preparers when they are near. Today’s CTM outfit seemed appropriate to me. While I am in the “details matter mindset” I thought I would point out a few (knowing full well there are a few I missed like a suit collar lapel and pocket flap press.) First a classic color of suit (all the same fabric coat and trouser ). Second a 1/4 to 1/2” shirt sleeve cuff showing. Third a tie width that is commensurate to the lapel width. Fourth a tie length at the halfway point of the belt buckle. Fifth a knot that fits the collar size and type (Prince Albert). Sixth a sock color in the tone of the pant. Seventh a black shoe and black belt. Eighth silver watch and silverwedding ring. Ninth a broader more formal stripe tie with the tattersall shirt. And finally Tenth, an operable coat button that is within an inch of the trouser waist line with the deep forward pleated custom rise pants. I AM ABSOLUTELY NOT SAYING THIS IS THE ONLY NOR “CORRECT” WAY TO DO IT. I am saying that I put this together with intention to fit and choice of combo. (Well …..maybe number 10 is the “correct” way😎😉😏 no 🐒 🪗) •1995 MTM blue herringbone suit •Reversible cotton pocket square (barely can see the tattersall side whilst the grey seersucker shows) •CT Tattersall spread collar shirt •XMI non regimental rep tie in raspberry • Pantherella socks • J Fitzpatrick captoes • Seiko Model 5 Automatic

Shoe project update
Some of you may remember the John Varvatos shoes that I picked up at a thrift shop. I thought they had a natural patina, but once I got them home and cleaned them up I found that what I thought was natural was someone's botched attempt to patina the shoes. I left them sit for months before I got back to them last night. I wanted to see how one would look after a couple of applications of Safir dark brown shoe cream. Here is the result, I'm not convinced that they look good enough to wear. I suppose the next step is RenoMat to strip the finish and re-dyeing them, perhaps oxblood.
