Had to fill in last minute with an Alt-Country band, so I took what I wore to work and added a denim shirt to the mix. Started with a base of 1947 Od-7 Army trousers from Bronson in Herringbone Twill and my white Calvin Klein dress shirt. Red tie to contrast the green pants. Wrangler Pearl Snap Western Denim shirt and my Navy Blazer. Burgundy belt and Penny Loafers. Removed the Blazer while I played and used the denim as the jacket. A nice old lady said she liked how I dressed.

Inspired by one of Brian’s posts, so I started with a Ralph Lauren Tiny Check Button Down. Navy & Red striped tie. Wrangler Pearl Snap Western shirt. Jacket by Hardwick. Ben Davis work trousers with the neat Fishmouth pockets. Burgundy belt and Nettleton Penny Loafers.

I have 1672 saved pins on my Pinterest clothing board. When I am bored while sipping my coffee I look for things that I would like to wear. With fall coming I was flipping through items I’ve saved thinking about what holes I may have in my wardrobe. One thing popped out. I have one old denim shirt that I flipped the frayed collar on a couple of years back so that I could milk some more years out of it. But perhaps I could use a new one-with a western yolk- and pearl snaps. Living in rural Oklahoma I could grab a sport coat over it and maybe even a tie under and it would work well in my WFH environment. {see kids-that’s what one calls Justification- neighbor🤷🏻}. I think I would wear any one of these and I think I have a few similar items that these can be used for this fall’s inspiration. Hmmmmmm🤔
