The First 50
In May I started my weight loss at 323lbs. I told my wife that after I lost 50 lbs I was going to have some pizza. Well Tuesday of this week I officially hit that first 50lb mark and we just got done hosting the kids and the grandkids and some friends over for pizza. It was a lot of fun, but I think I realized that I don’t miss the pizza as much as I thought I did. Now I need to figure out how to celebrate the next 50lb loss.

Suit and ties
I grew up without a grandfather and a father so ive never worn a suit or tied a tie. But i am curious about it now that i have seen most of you guys wearing them and finding the right styles. Id like to know where you get them from?

I love the classic fits...I mean, the slimmer tailoring today looks great on SOME people and hell, when I stand up, adjust and stand still it may even look good one me! However, when I walk the cuffs get caught up on the shoe and it never looks perfect! Personally? Give me the pleats, the cuffs...give me the full break with the cuff to the sole of the shoe! I also love finding deals...as I could never afford this hobby full retail. about 6 weeks ago I I found 4 suits at goodwill uncut, tags on em. Nothign fancy--department store brands but my bar for suits starts at "all wool" and these fit the bill. At $30 each, I was taking all 4 of em! In looking through the pockets, I found a quality control tag dated 1988...friggin thing's damn near 40 years old and I'm breakin' her in today! It's an Evan-Picone which evidently focused on ladies fashion, but did a little bit of mens too. After maybe $100 in tailoring I love it! The entire fit is thrifted/poshmarked/ebayed! The shirt is bev hill polo club, $3. Shoes are vintage florsheim imperial at maybe $50? I can't remember. $1 goodwill tie completes it. Details: Orient watch which, if you're not familiar with Orient watches, is easily the best deal goin. The thing punches far beyond it's weight class. fragrance is Tom Ford, Ombre Leather. Anson Belt. The Pocket silk was a gift and if you'd like to know more about where that came from, message me as I do not want to drop links here. My entire outfit might be $100...$225 after tailoring.
