OOTD - Friday 3 July (Heading Home)
Today is the flight home, so I have the opposite issue where I start in the warm and humid Cairns climate and go back to the Canberra Cold. So its the Egyptian Cotton Chore suit and a Linen Shirt at the start and I will end up wearing the 100% merino wool Peacoat once I land in Canberra. Todays outfit consists of; M.J. Bale Pascal Peacoat expertly crafted from 100% merino wool and woven in a Super 110's cloth (for the landing in Canberra) M.J. Bale Sinatra Chore Suit in Empire Green crafted from 100% Egyptian cotton Tarocash Tobacco Linen button down Sparrods & Co Safari Chelsea in Espresso Suede Mint Fox Socks New gift from Nicole of the Dog Lapel Pin (pretty sure it was a broch) SOTD - Mancera French Riviera WOTD - Erebus Origin GMT, aka Wade Wilson

Always check your side tabs 😉
So having lost 15kg (33pd) since Jane 2025 I have found all my suit trousers, or those in a size 38, have been a little loose. Today I noticed more as I am not wearing suspended at all and the trousers only have a side tabs and not belt loops. So whilst sitting at my desk and trying to figure out how much I am going to need to get tailored I noticed that there was a little bit left on each side tab. I had to remove the trousers to access this little bit, so adjourned to the change rooms here in the office and proceeded to extract as much out of each tab as possible. Well lo and behold my trousers now fit perfectly. I have attached the photos below with some red circles where you should be able to see the original impressions from there long lasting wear. Now there is absolutely no more room to tighten but hey, it’s a win and I will now be checking every other trouser at home for the similar adjustment.
Always check your side tabs 😉
