Weekly RMRS Member Shoutouts 👔
Gentlemen, here are a few standout posts from the RMRS community this week. Big shoutout to @John Witvoet for his wedding rehearsal outfit post. Great example of dressing intentionally for a meaningful occasion — and the community clearly appreciated it with strong engagement. Post: https://www.skool.com/rmrs/wedding-rehearsal Shoutout to @Chad Smith for another strong OOTD breakdown. The blue suit, clean white shirt, and tie focus made this a helpful example of how small details can make an outfit pop. Post: https://www.skool.com/rmrs/ootd-tuesday-12-may And shoutout to @Jeffrey Plotka for the new trouser day post. Tailoring, fit adjustments, and continued progress are exactly the kind of real-world style improvements we love seeing here. Post: https://www.skool.com/rmrs/new-trouser-day Keep posting your outfits, wins, questions, and progress. These are the kinds of posts that help other men take action!

This Stops Being About Clothes
There's a shift that happens for some men. They stop asking "does this look okay?" and start knowing. Not because they memorized rules — but because they've built a standard for themselves. A quiet confidence that doesn't need to announce itself. You see it in how they walk into a room. In how people respond to them before they say a word. In how much mental energy they have left for things that actually matter. That's not style. That's identity. And identity isn't bought — it's built, through consistent habits and deliberate choices made over time. That's what RMRS Premium is designed for. Not trends. Not outfit grids. A structured path to becoming the man who looks sharp because of who he is — not what he's wearing. If that shift sounds like something you want, the door's open: https://www.skool.com/rmrs/plans

Don't ever be finished!!
I've spent more and more time reflecting and looking towards the future. One thing I have always believed in that the rearview mirror is smaller than the windshield for a reason. You are supposed to spend more time looking ahead than looking behind!! While you still need to see where you've been for lessons learned and context to move forward, but you shouldn't be dwelling on the things that you can't change. Your BEST days are still ahead of you! In some of my self reflection, I have been thinking about the phrase TGIF (Thank God it's Friday). This has never been a sentiment that I have embraced. It has a conotation that "it's over", "coast", "nothing left to do". I find it to be the complete opposite. Things in motion tend to stay in motion. We as humans need to be in motion. While your work week may be ending, it doesn't mean your life is dead, or nothing left to do. We should be going into the weekend with the same sense of purpose we go into the beginning of the work week or more importantly every day. ie: ATTACK everyday!! LIVE everyday!! LOVE everyday!! BE intentional EVERYDAY!! This is how I wake up every morning and go to bed every evening, saying these things to myself. And Thanking God every day for another chance to be here! OOTD: Blue/Grey Hugo Boss Sport Jacket Medium Blue Dress trousers with "Turn ups" or Cuffs Navy with red Shadow Stripe OTC Dress Socks Margaux Patina'd Cap toe Oxfords with matching belt Blue/Silver with Burgundy Edge Pocket Square. Wishing you all a wonderful Friday and an amazing weekend ahead!

Experimenting with Tweed
Hello Gentlemen, I posted before asking about style advice for an old Tweed sport coat I had acquired. I wanted to post my first attempt from a couple of months prior and get feedback. Let me hear your thoughts!

6 years in the making: Graduating Law School
Today ended a chapter of my life i started 6 years ago when I signed up to take the LSAT. (It ended up bring the first ever LSAT to be administered remotely due to COVID restrictions). Yesterday I was hooded by one of my favorite professors and today I officially graduated with a Juris Doctorate from the Thurgood Marshall School of Law. While it may not have been fully proper, I left the top few inches of my regalia open showing my tie. The burgundy Oscar de la Renta tie belonged to my father who passed away from lung cancer in Oct 2016. Wearing it through graduation I felt honored his memory and that he would have been proud. I am thus far the first member of my immediate family with a bachelor's degree, and now the first with a professional degree. I was thankful to have the support of my loving wife, two daughters and In-laws throughout this journey who have been motivation and inspiration for one of the longest-path goals of my life. In 87 days, I will take the Texas Bar exam and start the next phase of my life.
