Which “small detail” matters most for you?
Most guys don’t lose points because of big mistakes… they lose points because of one tiny detail that quietly screams “I didn’t finish the job.” If you had to pick one detail that makes (or breaks) the whole look, what matters most? Vote - and drop in the comments why you chose it. Bonus: if you’ve ever been called out on one of these, tell us which one got you.

An unzipped fly...thankfully easily fixed.

I found a way to attach a side-mounted water bottle holder to my satchel for law school. I would have preferred it to be made out of matching leather, but I haven't found person who can do it. Concept-wise, what do you think?

The "Turning Point" Challenge (CLOSED - Winner Announced)
Alright gents - we’re kicking off a fun challenge starting TODAY. We often talk about leveling up our style. But the truth is, no man decides to level up just because he bought a new suit. He buys the suit because he first decided he was done playing small. We all have a "Line in the Sand"—that specific moment where the old version of you no longer fit the man you wanted to become. Today, we’re kicking off a 3-day challenge to honor those stories. This isn't a "who looks best" contest. This is about the Turning Point. Whether it was a promotion that felt out of your league, a breakup that forced a reality check, or the day you became a father and realized you had to lead by example - we want to hear about the moment you stopped cutting corners. HOW TO JOIN (Super easy) Drop your story in the comments under this post. Use this quick format: 1. The old you (What did "average" look like for you then?) 2. The moment (What was the specific wake-up call?) 3. The shift (What was the very first change you made?) 4. The result (How are you showing up differently today?) Optional: Feel free to attach a "Before" photo to show the physical side of that internal shift. HOW THE CHALLENGE WORKS - Challenge will run for 3 days (starting today until Jan 19th) - Post your story in the comments of this post (not separate posts) - Our team will personally pick the winner at the end - Winner will be announced next week Monday Jan 19th - Winner gets a surprise gift from Antonio 🎁 WINNERS WILL BE PICKED BASED ON - Detail and quality of your comment (70%) - Thumbs up from others (5%) - Paid members will have plus points. RULES & LIMITATIONS - Must be Level 5 or higher to win - Free shipping (USA only; forwarding addresses accepted) The floor is yours. What was the moment you decided to level up? Let’s hear it below. 👇

The old me had (nor attempted to have) any sense of style. I was not particularly social and ran an automotive research and development business from home so I had no external motivation to dress with class. My dress was all about comfort (t shirts….sometimes undershirts), utility (cargo shorts and well-worn jeans were a frequent choice). This style was only broken on the rare occasions I went out for a special occasion with family. The best this would get is a clean(er) pair of jeans, and a button-down long-sleeve shirt. I didn’t even own a suit. The turning point for me was a lengthy and hostile divorce. My attorney advised me to dress well for court, so I bought an entry level black suit. At first it felt awkward (especially the dress shoes). I noticed that I was one of few litigants that actually dressed well for court and was frequently mistaken for an attorney. Ironically, a few months later, I would fire my attorney and take up my case pro-per (self-represented). My suit became my armor and I felt empowered when I wore it. The term “Pro-per” took on a double meaning. The photo of the black suit was the first time I represented myself in court….and the first time I got a favorable ruling for the entire case to that date that led to me being able to bring my daughter home with me for the first time in over a year. After four additional years of litigation, I was talked into applying to law school and was accepted. This is where the desire to appear professional became less of a necessity and more of an expression of my rebuilt self. It also helped that I discovered RMRS and began understanding that there were colors other than black. (at least for suits) and also became interested in classy but less formal clothing such as polo shirts in place of t-shirts, Chelsea boots instead of sneakers and really enjoyed how throwing on a sport coat could completely augment an otherwise modest outfit, but the suit remained the uniform of this profession. I created a photo catalog of various combinations of my two colors of suits, three colors of dress shirts and began experimenting with ties (something I never thought I would do).
Last Year’s Wins 🎉 This Year’s Focus 🎯
Gents, before we move too far into 2026, I want you to pause and look back intentionally. 1️⃣ Last Year Wins What’s 1–3 wins from last year you’re proud of? Doesn’t have to be massive. A habit you strengthened, a distraction you cut, or a standard you raised 2️⃣ This Year’s Focus What’s 1–2 goals you’re deliberately committing to this year - not wishing for, but committing to? Could be... Sharpening your personal style as a form of self-respect Building a tighter, more intentional fragrance rotation Becoming more educated, patient, and disciplined with watches Showing up with more consistency - physically, mentally, and professionally Raising your standards in how you present yourself to the world Drop your wins and your focus below. Let’s build on what worked. And cut what didn’t!

Suggested dress for symphony
For Her 12th birthday, im taking my daughter to the Houston Symphony at Jones hall...for the performance of Return of the Jedi. We've been to a few of these fun concerts dressed in nice wear, but im considering doing somthing more theme-related. I could: 1) stick with traditional dress 2) costume wear (think Jedi Robe) 3) suit with a star wars tie Thoughts?
