Today brings the adventure to a close! It will feel good to get home. I always tend to miss my bed the most when I am gone for 2+ weeks. Wearing a bit of a hybrid travel outfit for me today. No tie or jacket, but a vest business casual outfit. Opted for wearing larger items again so as to keep them from the suitcase. One great benefit of being in the airport for a few hours: it's freezing in here and yet 100F outside. We're home for all of a week before heading to Lake Tahoe for another week of celebration. Tahoe is my older son's favorite place in the world (thus far), so before he moves away to college, we wanted to give him one more trip to his spot. The change of scenery from Mediterranean islands to a mountain lake resort (with gambling, if you're not a lifelong statistician...) will be welcoming. Somehow, I need to work in a trip to NYC in early to mid August as well!
