New jacket completes the look
Attending an offsite this week for the company I joined last fall, and I’m meeting most of my colleagues for the first time in person so I wanted to spruce up my wardrobe. I found a great jacket to complete my look - Theory does a “stand collar” jacket in a light technical fabric that was perfect. I went for the “pestle” gray color, which is pretty versatile and can work with both khakis/earth tones as well as black jeans which I wear a lot. Also wearing: - Black stretch jeans by theperfectjean.nyc - Wine colored henley by banana republic - Black ponto leather shoes - Random black belt from Amazon - Watch: Ming 17.03 burgundy dial - Frag: Prada Luna Rossa Ocean EDT

This Stops Being About Clothes
There's a shift that happens for some men. They stop asking "does this look okay?" and start knowing. Not because they memorized rules — but because they've built a standard for themselves. A quiet confidence that doesn't need to announce itself. You see it in how they walk into a room. In how people respond to them before they say a word. In how much mental energy they have left for things that actually matter. That's not style. That's identity. And identity isn't bought — it's built, through consistent habits and deliberate choices made over time. That's what RMRS Premium is designed for. Not trends. Not outfit grids. A structured path to becoming the man who looks sharp because of who he is — not what he's wearing. If that shift sounds like something you want, the door's open: https://www.skool.com/rmrs/plans

Where Tailoring Meets Everyday Comfort
Today’s business casual selection came together exactly the way I had envisioned—relaxed, refined, and perfectly suited for a productive day at the office, followed by an evening transition. The centerpiece is my new Hart Schaffner Marx jacket, which I recently had tailored, and the fit now drapes beautifully through the shoulders and torso while maintaining a soft, effortless structure. Underneath, the new knitted polo from Paul Jones adds both texture and comfort, its breathable fabric bringing a sophisticated casualness that pairs exceptionally well with the jacket’s lighter weave. The chocolate twill trousers introduce an earthy depth to the palette, while the Allen Edmonds leather sneakers keep the look modern, polished, and approachable without sacrificing comfort. Finishing everything off is the trusty Invicta Reserve on the wrist—a dependable statement piece that quietly ties together the warm tones, textures, and relaxed confidence of the entire ensemble.

6 years in the making: Graduating Law School
Today ended a chapter of my life i started 6 years ago when I signed up to take the LSAT. (It ended up bring the first ever LSAT to be administered remotely due to COVID restrictions). Yesterday I was hooded by one of my favorite professors and today I officially graduated with a Juris Doctorate from the Thurgood Marshall School of Law. While it may not have been fully proper, I left the top few inches of my regalia open showing my tie. The burgundy Oscar de la Renta tie belonged to my father who passed away from lung cancer in Oct 2016. Wearing it through graduation I felt honored his memory and that he would have been proud. I am thus far the first member of my immediate family with a bachelor's degree, and now the first with a professional degree. I was thankful to have the support of my loving wife, two daughters and In-laws throughout this journey who have been motivation and inspiration for one of the longest-path goals of my life. In 87 days, I will take the Texas Bar exam and start the next phase of my life.
