Style Battle: Navy Suit vs. Charcoal Grey Suit? (Pick One & Why)
Gentlemen, if you could only own ONE suit for the rest of your life, which would it be? 👔⚔️ Two iconic suit colors. Two very different statements. And every well-dressed man has an opinion. THE NAVY SUI: Versatile, confident, and universally flattering. Navy reads as both formal and approachable, making it equally at home in a boardroom, at a wedding, or on a first date. Pair it with brown shoes for a classic look, or white sneakers for a modern edge. It's the suit that does everything. THE CHARCOAL GREY SUIT: The ultimate power suit. Serious, authoritative, and razor-sharp. Charcoal grey carries an undeniable gravitas that navy simply can't match — it's the suit you wear when you need to command a room. With a white shirt and black shoes, it's untouchable. The question: Which suit earns the single spot in your wardrobe — and why? Vote your pick below 👇 and tell me what outfit you'd build around it!

Going to a Hair Salon for the first time
Man i can’t believe that this is actually a post lol 😆. But i’ve been taking the advice of some of the brothers and Mr. Centeno on this community, and decided to go to a salon for the first time. I’ve had years and years of shitty haircuts, and i mean no disrespect to the place, but ive realized that it just isn’t the look that fits me anymore lol. I felt a little awkward, being a dude in a salon, but it was genuinely such a good environment. The stylist was a really nice guy who did an excellent job on my hair. As a balding brother struggling with hair loss, i’ve been erring to find the right styles to cover it up while i’m on my hair loss meds journey, and he did a fantastic job at giving me a haircut for the occasion. They’re inclusive too, they also wash and dry and style your hair when finished. This is definitely going to be a new place for me to start going to now. It’s made a huge difference on my appearance and face. Thank you all!

This Stops Being About Clothes
There's a shift that happens for some men. They stop asking "does this look okay?" and start knowing. Not because they memorized rules — but because they've built a standard for themselves. A quiet confidence that doesn't need to announce itself. You see it in how they walk into a room. In how people respond to them before they say a word. In how much mental energy they have left for things that actually matter. That's not style. That's identity. And identity isn't bought — it's built, through consistent habits and deliberate choices made over time. That's what RMRS Premium is designed for. Not trends. Not outfit grids. A structured path to becoming the man who looks sharp because of who he is — not what he's wearing. If that shift sounds like something you want, the door's open: https://www.skool.com/rmrs/plans

There are many reasons to celebrate today. Today is my business partner's birthday. Today is also Administrative Professionals Day. And, as on who cares for our keeping the planet healthy, today is also Earth Day. I celebrate the first two by taking them to lunch and the last one by providing a donation to my preferred charity in this realm. Also, I broke out the windowpane suite to give a touch of tailored class to the events. • Suit — SJ-013, SL-022 (Mantoni): A light gray windowpane suit in lightweight wool, featuring navy and light blue window lines that add visual interest without overwhelming. The single-breasted 2-button jacket offers slight padding with notched lapels and two rear vents for ease of movement. The 80% lining provides structure while maintaining breathability for spring. Q4-2025 tailored with a "Very good" fit verdict—ideal for today's client video conference and my business partner's in-person visit. The matching slacks feature suspender buttons—critical for today's no-belt look. • Shirt — DS-040 (Charles Tyrwhitt): A crisp white non-iron twill dress shirt with French cuffs and a classic point collar (4.5" spread, 2.75" height). The high-opacity cotton twill with soft hand ensures clean, professional presentation on camera. The French cuffs elevate the formality to board-meeting ready, while the point collar pairs elegantly with the suspenders for a classic executive look. Collar stay size: 2.5". Sadly, once again, the sleeves are too long. • Undershirt — US-003 (Pro Club): A heavyweight white cotton crew neck undershirt providing excellent coverage beneath the high-opacity white dress shirt. The solid medium-to-heavy drape ensures no show-through—essential when wearing a light gray suit where contrast matters. • Suspenders — SB-001 (Kirby Allison / Albert Thurston): Sovereign Grade navy silk suspenders with white polka dots, Y-back construction, and button attachment. Handmade in England by Albert Thurston with premium silk front and cream leather back. The navy with white dots creates elegant contrast against the white shirt while echoing the navy windowpane lines in the suit. Button attachment ensures clean, formal lines without the bulk of clips—the only appropriate choice for business formal.

If the suit fits…..
my biggest regrets are A) all the things I WUDDASHUDDACUDDA and B) all the time wasted on regretting not doing the things I wished that I WUDDASHUDDACUDDA. I am grateful that I pulled the trigger and had this suit (you have seen a lot) made back in Oct 1995. The good news is I can fit into it again. There were several years that I could not. I watched a video about Bespoke Saville Row suits and how they tend to get a better feel and fit with age. Although this is not that quality being a MTM it still gives me that feature. It is slightly heavier than many suits and I really like how it feels. This all reminded me about a friend of mine. There was a fraternity brother who showed up to school in a polyester suit, Qiana disco shirt with giant collars over his coat collars all in some aberration of nature coloration all shown off by his giant Afro. He became one of my must loyal customers at Harold’s and he made a marked transformation. One of the things I wish I had followed that he exemplified was that he based his fitness around his extensive expenditure on classic timeless clothing. When his clothes started to get tight, the diet and the gym beckoned. I look back on all the pants I gave away. In today’s crazy prices ($350 for a pair of quality double pleated pants), I am sure that I gave away some 30-50 pairs as my blob-blobbed. I am sure some of the trousers wouldn’t have survived but $10 k is a lot of money if I were to replace all of them (I used to buy on sale and at my store discount back in old days). There is a very real economic value to hitting and maintaining a weight. So If the suit fits….
