Man i can’t believe that this is actually a post lol 😆. But i’ve been taking the advice of some of the brothers and Mr. Centeno on this community, and decided to go to a salon for the first time. I’ve had years and years of shitty haircuts, and i mean no disrespect to the place, but ive realized that it just isn’t the look that fits me anymore lol. I felt a little awkward, being a dude in a salon, but it was genuinely such a good environment. The stylist was a really nice guy who did an excellent job on my hair. As a balding brother struggling with hair loss, i’ve been erring to find the right styles to cover it up while i’m on my hair loss meds journey, and he did a fantastic job at giving me a haircut for the occasion. They’re inclusive too, they also wash and dry and style your hair when finished. This is definitely going to be a new place for me to start going to now. It’s made a huge difference on my appearance and face. Thank you all!

Heading off to see the in-laws in Iowa and a roller coaster of weather awaits. 80s tomorrow, 50s the rest of the time then back to 80s on Monday.

It’s a wet and muggy one on the bayou, been up for a good while cooking corned beef and cabbage as my dad said he wanted some and figured today is an ideal day to do it so he’ll be joining us for an early dinner. Happy Easter, Passover, or just Sunday to everyone.

On what would have been my mother’s 80th birthday, I went with a purple shirt today as it was her favorite color. Sadly she passed away some 8 and a half years ago now so in running some errands a visit to her grave for some flowers. Hug your mothers today if you can, I wish I could again every day. I awoke today fully refreshed and pain free in the shoulder for the first time in a good while. As my good friend @Jeffrey Plotka always says Monday is his favorite day and today I was ready to take on the world, get my week laid out, a trip to PT, and finish up a few things before I hit the road. At 8:05, the first curve ball came as a company wide announcement was sent out stating that the VP of sales was leaving at the end of the week. But that brought an unannounced conference call an hour later. Ok cool, I can do that. Then curve ball number two came in the form of a call at 8:30 informing me that the storage unit that a vendor has in the area will be closed Friday and that his company deemed Louisiana as a secondary market and would not have regular representation from this vendor but that I am still to push his products. Oh and everything in it is yours but it has to be out by Friday, and I’m on the road until Friday starting tomorrow. Boom there went my day up in smoke. But your attitude about Monday kept me smiling through out each curve ball and I thank you for that.
