On the 7th day of Christmas embracing the passing of time🎵
As my hair thins and my beard has moved to the salt from the pepper side I find my self wearing hats more and more. One of the things I love about Classic Timeless Menswear is the ability to embrace old timeless items in a new way. The Pendleton stalker hat worn today I have had for at least 35 years. I rarely wore this classic in my late 20’s and early 30’s, but I’ve noticed that the beard itself and the reality that the beard isn’t the only part of me that is well seasoned makes the hat more- let’s just say suited. Today I am taking my family and my deceased best buddy’s son and his new bride (for their belated honeymoon) to a resort over the weekend. Consequently on this travel day I am wearing my Filson Field jacket, a Barbour flannel, black Levi 501 button fronts and my Salomon black trek runners. Just hope I don’t fall in the water with the 7 swans a swimming.
