Hello
I’d like to ask more experienced men for feedback on my style, as I want to develop in a classic direction. I enjoy being part of this community, even though I’m new here. I understand I might be the youngest here since I’m only 16, which is exactly why I’d like to ask—what can you say about my clothing, and most importantly, what do you think about how I can improve it? Thank you in advance!!
Hello
@Mike Guerry You can’t imagine how important this is to me. Thank you for the recommendations—they’re really helpful. I’ll keep trying to improve and develop further. And thank you as well for supporting Ukraine in the information space; it means a lot to our society, and especially to me. You’ve given me a push toward the future. Thank you.
@Chad Smith Thank you, I think I’ll try to apply your advice soon. In the next few days, I’ll be putting together a new outfit, and I’m confident it will be better than the one I posted. You’ve broadened my perspective on classic menswear.
Vintage Fedora day 2
Harris Tweed Herringbone overcoat and a 1956 Champ Kasmir finish Fedora I had restored by Mclaughlin & Hayes in Milwaukee. A Champ fedora was on the same level as Stetson and Dobbs. Not in the same ballpark as a Borsalino but worn by most American business men of the era

The second shot looks like a magazine cover. The fedora is really nice and suits you well.

Today’s outfit starts with a combination of a striped Brooks Brother tie with a Jos. A. Banks pocket square that compliments the tie as well as a new pair of socks that also compliments the tie and pocket square. From there I put on a lavender dress shirt under my pinstriped navy suit from.Jos. A. Banks. The hat is a narrow brim fedora from Goorin Bros. As for the shoes, they are a mismatched combination of cap toed oxfords, one from Allen Edmunds, the other from Johnston and Murphy. I am not sure how I managed other then both pairs were sitting on the shoe rack together and Robin was pushing me to get out the door.

You look incredible. I really like how you put your outfits together—you come across as someone people can truly trust. Wishing you all the best.
I’m back
Gentlemen it’s been entirely too long since I’ve been active on here. I’ve found my desire to look and dress sharp is tied into my self view. I had lost a good amount of weight and felt better about myself. But then let myself go do to lack of support at home. I recently had some blood work done and had some troubling numbers. So naturally it scared me. I was told everything is still reversible. But the scare made me really realize that I need to change. I doubled down on everything. My diet, my fitness my lifestyle. I’ve already lost over 10lbs since that blood work came back and my blood sugar levels are now way down to almost where they need to be. Because I’m actually feeling better about myself I feel like I’m worthy (not sure how else to word it) to look my best in fashion every day as well. I’m currently in a slightly over sized polo shirt, dark jeans and dark brown hiking boots while at work but I’m going back to my chukka boots, after I dust them off since the weather is getting nicer, to get into feeling better about how I dress. Sorry for the rambling but I just felt I needed to get it out there to guys who might know how I’m feeling.
Good luck with your efforts. Losing weight is very important, especially if you have health issues. Thank you for sharing—there’s nothing wrong with opening up about your experiences. I believe this is exactly the kind of community where people can support each other’s personal growth in all aspects.
Yesterday’s Vibe!
We went to visit some friends on the Bay in Fairhope Alabama yesterday and it was beautiful out! Had to snap a few pics! I’m so grateful for life, family, friends and what the Creator created for all of us to enjoy. Don’t ever take 1 minute for granted because we’re not promised the next. Always wake up with an attitude of gratitude and make the most out of life. We’re only here for a short time so we have to enjoy it while we’re here! Have the best day guys!
Yesterday’s Vibe!
Thank you for reminding us about gratitude. In fact, many people have the opportunity to live their best lives right now. Even watching a sunrise or a sunset is a great gift of this world—the sound of water, the rustling of leaves—all of this makes life worth living. There are people whose lives have their darker notes, but everyone still has a sunrise and a sunset, and the chance to appreciate the beauty of nature.
