Suit Fitment
I got this 3 piece suit from Joseph A Bank, ordered it a month ago, went and got it altered there and my one concern was the shoulder fitment. The gentleman helping me said that steaming it would help and it would settle. So I paid for the suit, waited for the jacket in the size he said I needed to come in, then I went back to get it fitted for alterations. I paid a little under $400 for the suit and then $112 for the alterations. I took it home, steamed the shoulders and as I guessed that did not fix the issue. The shoulders extend past my natural shoulders which causes it to crease like shown in the images. I am now taking it back tomorrow for them to look and see what can be done. What should I expect going in? I need the suit for a wedding for next weekend. Again I went in there with plenty of time to get it done and now it’s crunch time due to this issue.

Boundaries
Being the person in the family that has broken the generational curse and pushed my self to succeed in life. I’ve had a lot of family ask me for “loans”. I have never given them any money. They know if they call me For money I’m going to offer to open a business for them and once they pay me back the money the business is theirs. Only 1 person as taking me up on that offer. After 5 years He just handed me the last check for what he owed me. I gave it back to him told him merry Christmas. We were sitting at dinner yesterday and he told That he now sees why I don’t give money but offer a business. And that the family has started to call him for money. But he’s been doing the Same thing I did with him. No takers yet. Moral of the story is one word Mentorship Just my thoughts🤷‍♂️
green and brown
I was going to try a mono-tonal green outfit today, but that looked a little overwhelming. So I added a jacket from a brown donegal tweed suit I have. It's a little darker than I usually wear in daytime, but I'm going with it.
