My mom's favorite color was Purple….
On what would have been my mother’s 80th birthday, I went with a purple shirt today as it was her favorite color. Sadly she passed away some 8 and a half years ago now so in running some errands a visit to her grave for some flowers. Hug your mothers today if you can, I wish I could again every day. Too formal for jeans?
I bought a pair of suede derbies from eBay. I wore them out to dinner with chinos tonight, but tomorrow we're going to the wholesale club and I'm wearing dark-wash Levi's because whenever I wear chinos there they get stained. The derbies are less formal than oxfords but more formal than loafers, even though the suede brings down the formality level. I'm just wondering if they're appropriate to wear with jeans? It's been a while since I've worn lace-ups.
