If we put aside the noise of the mind, what remains?
If nothing stirs emotion, what is felt?
If there is no self to own the experience, who is there?
Words fail to answer these questions — they belong to the very realm I’m questioning.
They were once the way of knowing, until they no longer could reach the questions of my Soul.
So I asked my Soul,
How can I find you the answers?
There was silence. And a smile.
The silence was the answer.
The smile was the knowing.
