Gratitude for the Earth That Holds Us
Today, I’m reflecting on the wisdom of the First Peoples... the original stewards of the land I inhabit. Their teachings remind us how to live in reciprocity, in deep presence, and in right relationship with the Earth.
As we celebrate Canadian Thanksgiving, my heart overflows with gratitude.
This has always been my favourite holiday... not because of gifts or gatherings for their own sake, but because it invites us to share from the land itself.
To give and receive from the Earth’s abundance, to slow down, and to come together in presence, as community, as family, as friends.
It reminds me that every meal, every breath, every moment of rest is held by the Earth herself.
I’m still feeling the Gratitude Experience flowing through my being today, and I am so filled with love.
*Happy tears* 😭💗
✨ SHARED Reflection:
What’s one way you can honour the earth beneath you today?
Perhaps a pause of gratitude, a quiet walk outdoors, or simply listening more deeply to the wisdom of the natural world. I would love to know!
May your rest be rich with appreciation, and your heart steady in reverence for all that holds you.
Thanks-for-giving your presence.
Thank you for being here.
