Mid-Week Pause | The Courage to Be Grateful
This past weekend was a reminder that gratitude can also be vulnerable. In echo of Cat's share: Be Courageous. Each time we pause to appreciate what is already present, we open our hearts and space for something new to emerge. Let's continue to pause for gratitude! SHARE below what you are grateful for today! I'll begin... I am grateful for all of those who are sharing their voice in this community... When I see you being vulnerable and sharing your questions, creating bids for connection, and supporting those who share with a like or comment, it shows me... Although we can be a 'sleepy' community in nature, we don't push 'snooze' on connection. For those silent observers here, I encourage you to SHARE your moment of gratitude on this post! You deserve to be seen. Let's support each other!

Today I am thankful that my body lets me know when I am starting to be burned out.
Broken šŸ’”
***Trigger warning: Unalive*** My Gram is dying and my Dad is about to go into major surgery in a few days. I am so broken and torn up inside. The perfect storm is approaching.

My Gram passed on...
I am tender.
I have been living in the storm for quite a while. While inside this storm, I always assumed that there was no escape. That the battle would be ongoing and fierce in that I would always just be fighting to survive. It's really easy to forget about the eye of the storm. The place of Peace, the place of tenderness The place where I can go and just be happy. Be content. For a long time I thought that my Sankalpa was something to be achieved. Instead of something that I am. I am tender. I am complete. The storm is nothing more than me realizing how much I appreciate peace. There are always storms, and there is always peace. Sometimes the best thing you can do is just let go. If you've made it this far, I would love to invite you to join me in the storm so that you may find your peace. I used the following video from Ayla. If you use the following video to practice, please message me directly or comment on here letting me know how it impacted you. https://youtu.be/uaWWX42X3gU?si=j3ZQCTVM8Dfwatpp
Accountability
Hey everyone, hope you're all doing great! The older I become, the more critical I find accountability is. For me, without someone or something holding me accountable, the more I fall for the easy ways out; including blatant disregard of what I know I ought to be doing. My question for you all is this... How important is accountability for you?

Hello everyone! Excited to join Nova Nidra!
I’m new here and wanted to introduce myself. I’m drawn to what this community stands for — the focus on deeper awareness, balance, and growth resonates with me. I’m especially interested in exploring how Nidra practices and mindful living can help with stress relief and creative flow (both personally and professionally). I’d love to hear what’s helped you the most on your Nidra journey, or any daily rituals you swear by. Looking forward to connecting, learning from you all, and hopefully sharing some of my reflections along the way! Question to kick things off: What first drew you to the practice of Nidra, and how has it impacted your daily life?

First off, @Scarlet Kate welcome to Nova Nidra! It's great to have you here! For me, it was actually through therapy that I learned about Yoga Nidra and ultimately led me to this amazing group! My therapist mentioned that I'm always sick and tired...and she was right, I am sick and tired of being sick and tired. I would love to say that YN is a daily ritual, but with ADHD sometimes it is really hard to stay focused enough to stop and practice. Other times I literally pass out from exhaustion, instead of putting on a session. I've learned that I am a continual work-in-progress. For impact, on the times I remember to practice. I. am. better. A better husband, a better father, a better friend, a better employee.
