Most athletes make one of two mistakes during summer: ❌ They stop training completely and lose months of progress. ❌ They try to train exactly the same way as the rest of the year and end up missing sessions, feeling guilty, and burning out. The reality is that summer requires a different approach. In this video, I break down why we've designed the new Hybrid Racer Summer Block the way we have, and how you can continue improving your fitness while still enjoying holidays, travel, family time, BBQs, beach days and everything else that makes summer great. 🎙️ IT IS WITH GREAT PLEASURE THAT WE WELCOME LUKE GREER TO THE HYBRID RACER FAMILY. Over the past couple of months, Luke Greer and I have been working together behind the scenes, and after an incredible weekend at the HYROX World Championships, it felt like the perfect time to officially introduce him to the Hybrid Racer community. For those who don't know Luke yet, he is now: 🏆 HYROX World Champion (Mixed Doubles 30-34) 🌍 8th Fittest HYROX Man on Earth (Elite 15 Pro Men) 🔥 5th Fittest HYROX Doubles Athlete on Earth (Elite 15 Pro Doubles) What makes this even more impressive is that Luke only started competing in HYROX a little over a year ago, and Stockholm was just his second Elite 15 appearance. After an incredible season, finishing with the HYROX World Championships and some outstanding performances from our athletes, on the competition floor and simulation workouts, it's time for our next chapter. Starting Monday, we kick off our 4-Week Summer Block. The goal? Train smart. Stay fit. Keep improving. Enjoy summer. Over the next four weeks, athletes will experience all the key HYROX demands, including running, strength, engine, compromised running, simulations, and more, but in a way that allows the body and mind to recover from months of hard training while still making progress. This is the perfect block for anyone who wants to: ✅ Stay race-ready over summer ✅ Improve weaknesses ✅ Maintain fitness while travelling ✅ Enjoy more flexibility in their training ✅ Build momentum for the biggest HYROX season yet After this block, we head straight into our Pre-Season Phase and start building towards the 2026/27 season. Whether you're a beginner, chasing your first HYROX, or aiming for Elite 15, this is the perfect time to join the programme.
