🇧🇷 São Paulo ...History Made!
This past weekend I was lucky enough to witness something truly special ...the first ever HYROX event in South America!! ✨ The numbers say it all: - Over 2,000 athletes on the start line - 1,500 spectators bringing incredible energy - Supported by 200 volunteers - Athletes representing 49 different countries The atmosphere was unbelievable, and it was an honour to be part of it and to see HYROX make history in my home country. The highlight for me...meeting the very first Hybrid Racer in Brazil!! Big Junior De Moraes SMASHED it and got his first experience in an official HYROX. Now he has a score to beat in the event in Rio de Janeiro coming up in late November! 🚀 This is just the beginning for South America and I couldn’t be more excited about what’s to come. Now, it is time to head back to Europe for the season to kick off! Looking forward to many more weekends like this one! For Time: 1km Run 500m Row 500m Ski 40 KB Swing 40m Sled Push (153/103kg) 1km Run 500m Row 500m Ski 40 DB Push Press (15/10kg) 20 Burpees to Target 1km Run 500m Row 500m Ski 20 Box Jump (24/20") 40m Sled Pull (103/78kg) 1km Run 500m Row 500m Ski 200 Skip Rope (100 DU's) 100m Farmer Carry (32/24kg) 1km Run 500m Row 500m Ski 40m SB Lunges (30/20kg) 40 Wall Balls (9/6kg) Details: - Score: your finish time (no time cap) - Respect HYROX standards for any race movement - Burpee to Target = a bar/rings placed 3" above overhead reach - Feel free to scale up or down according to your weight category on a HYROX race Let me know how you get on....Go smash this one TEAM! 🚀
