Here's an introductory article that may help. "5 Tips for Going Raw", an article written by Marc David, M.A. in 2014 and published by The Institute for the Psychology of Eating, is a well laid out discussion of some essential issues to consider and ways to prepare oneself when thinking about making a lifestyle change from cooked eating to eating raw. In this article, Marc focuses his discussion primarily on a plant-based raw lifestyle. However, I believe the content of the article is also relevant for adopting other raw lifestyles. For example, Marc writes about some motivating factors for choosing a raw lifestyle (e.g., the health benefits), equipping one's kitchen with essential tools, and some psychological adjustments needed to adopt a raw lifestyle. I believe this is a good introductory article for anyone considering a lifestyle change from eating cooked food to eating raw.

Will Tennyson Documents his weight gain of 11lbs in 24hr and the time required to loose those pounds. He pointing out that there are so many factors involved in the movement on the scale and suggests that we instead choose to gage our successes on how we are feeling, how things fit and look on us rather then being dependant on the scales. Personally I think it is about finding balance (see what I did there). Balance in our dietary goals, balance in our sleep goals, balance with our work to play ratios, our families demands. It’s all a balancing act and about being kind to ourselves. Don’t allow your emotions to be dictated by the scales fluctuations.
