Looked at my morning body photos today and had to do a double-take. The change is becoming obvious now. Weight is stable but the visual difference is real - and I’m starting to notice all the aesthetic things I want to work on next. Posture, shape, the stuff that was hidden before.
Got 3 workouts in this week. Getting about 4-5 hours at 98% efficiency on my Whoop - still need to work on this, but progress.
Here’s what clicked:
I figured out why I kept resisting calorie tracking. It’s not laziness - I just hate inputting numbers in the moment. So now I just take photos of everything and batch-enter at the end of the day. Game changer.
20 days in and tracking my weight has become automatic. It’s effortless now. That mental space is freeing up energy for cooking, working out, and actually looking at my progress photos every day - which keeps me motivated to push harder.
Also figuring out my water intake. Calculator says I should be hitting 2.7L a day but I’m at around 4L. Going to ask about this in the next Q&A.
Got 4 laps in on my evening walk to hit my step count.
Saw Darren using a treadmill in Thailand when pollution is bad - stealing that move. All these micro-wins are stacking up and building real confidence in my new jacked dad identity.
Been evangelizing too - shared with my friend , reccomended him to join the community. And I’m getting better at rejecting offers - when someone asks if I want a drink or cake, I just say “no thanks, I’m on a diet.” They push back, but once I tell them my results it shuts it down. Grateful for and this community. The accountability is everything. Next up: Build out a proper food menu. Lunch is sorted - alternating chicken breast and steak. Now I need to nail breakfast with foods I like.
I’m curious if you’ve recommended anyone to the community too? I can’t stop sharing good things.
