Day 42: Bone broth is a lifesaver 🎉
Now I get why @Darren Liu made beef bone broth a staple in his business. Sleep has been good the past 2-3 days, but the week before was still taking its toll. I was dragging. Ordered some bone broth from Genius Bar restaurant here in BKK, drank it, and felt revitalized almost instantly. Also managed to patch together 7 hours - 6 hours sleep plus a 1 hour nap. Being more strict with this now. Anyone else tried bone broth? How does it make you feel?

Little changes, real progress
After changing to a daily walking routine, I’ve started to really enjoy walking after work — quiet time, moving my body, and staying with myself. That consistency is carrying over into my training. When I train now, I’ve started noticing small muscles forming around my stomach. Nothing extreme — just subtle changes that make me feel proud. It reminds me that showing up daily, even in simple ways, really does build something over time ✨

Day 41: Cooking is my new novelty
Yesterday I talked about the boring middle. Today I found a small answer. Thanks @Usra Shah Good sleep helps. Obvious, I know. But two decent nights and I’m thinking clearer. Realized I can get creative with what I’m eating. Learning to count calories for new dishes gives me something to work on. The novelty I was craving was right there. Also starting to map out my biggest disruptions. Unplanned parenting stuff throws off my step count and rhythm. I’m reinforcing redundancy so when life happens, the system still runs. Enthusiasm is back. A mix of sleep, encouragement here, and some new novelty that doesn’t break the consistency. Slept 7 hours. Less than I wanted but way better than 3.

Day 40: The Boring Middle
8 weeks to go. Goal: 11% body fat. 78kg. Halfway there. 40 days in. Habits are working - still fixing my sleep. But here's the truth: I'm in the boring middle now. This is the hard part. Everything feels okay so my brain starts saying change things up, try something new, do something different. But I won't! I can see what makes this tough for people. We want new things. The same food gets old. The same habits get old. But I know this from other parts of my life - and from @Darren Liu 's example and others here to stay steady for months and years. It's not about new. It's about keeping it all going. Curious - anyone do anything fun to make the boring middle easier without breaking the consistency? Either way - I'm in. That's what a jacked dad does. Just being real about how it feels.
